My latest ailment is a sore as 'eck tail bone. Does anyone have a way of easing the pain??
xx
I had this after my daughter was born as I was sitting funny (can't think why!);)
I sat on two pillows next to each other- one per cheek, so to speak,:rotfl: leaving a gap in the middle to rest the tail bone. ~Hope it helps!!0 -
Well, my baby has lovingly been nicknamed 'HeffaBump'! :rotfl:
I'm 34w but measuring 37 . He's 6lb already!!!
I saw a fab male sonographer who uttered those words no Mum-to-be wishes to hear.... 'he's definately not on the small side'!
I've been booked in for yet another scan in 3w time.

Hiya jenkelly - I really suffered with this at about 16-18 weeks - still do if I sit in one place for too long. Try not to sit still for long periods, keep moving around, soft cushions can help for sitting on and, if the worst comes to the worst, a gym ball to sit on whilst at my desk was an embarrassing but necessary remedy.
I also tried a rubber ring, which worked for a while but wasn't that comfortable and made everybody think I had pilesplease listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -

I think the second blood test will show it was a mistake. Can't really get to my size without eating plenty of everything!Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0

Hi all..
Happy to say I've felt sick and dizzy all dayHas anyone actually had morning sickness start this early (4+4, I think)?!
Really I just feel like I'm very very hungry but I'm eating much bigger portions than I usually do (I do eat, but I'm only a size six - but a curvy one! - so often get accused of not eating! Grrr...).
Booked in to register with the midwife tomorrow afternoon. I went at 5wks last time and got told to come back at 8wks for the majority of the booking in apointment but I'm glad I went early as they'd already booked my scan for 10+5 when I went at 8wks, so I'm hoping by going tomorrow I'll get an earlier than 12wk scan this time. I know they won't do much else but I just want to be registered again in case something happens. OH wants to come with me too so he can at least meet the midwife - same one as last time I think (little village surgery).0 -
Hi there, can I join you? Got my first ever BFP on Sat after moving house and lugging washing machines etc down stairs... Test says I am 3-4 weeks (so 5-6 weeks according to docs). Am SO happy, as is DH (though he is terrified too - actually come to mention it so am I!)
Been to docs and they didnt even test me, just said I would get a call from a midwife about week 8 to meet her for first time. Is this normal? I must admit I was expecting something a bit more...like maybe a pg test to confirm?!
Have only told my parents and best friend, we are going to try to keep it a secret elsewhere till 3 months but that wont be easy!
