Pinkpig, it must be different for each area. Here at my first MW appointment at the GP surgery we just had a general chat, took BP and referred me to the antenatal unit. Then the unit sent me an appointment for around 12w where the scan and booking in were done at the same time . Same with my last preg too.

Ah, MilliesMum, I love knitted stuff too! Lots of people knitted things for Poppy (all neutrals so can use them again this time!). I used to put a different cardi on her each morning over her babygro when I brought her downstairs.

Oh, and tarajayne I can't see your pics for some reason?

I am booked in for a 34 week scan too. Have you had one before? What do they do??? Mine i am told to see check bub's weight. What does do they do do you know?

Yes it's my first and I am so very excited about experiencing so many new and magical things!


The midwife went really well although I did pass out when she took my blood! Although I knew I would!

Oh sorry to hear that you passed out.

They have trouble getting blood out of me so I always end up at the hospital.

Not a fan of needles myself, but i'm fine if i just dont watch.

Hi everyone...hope you're all well......i'm still feeling a bit of a fraud. Im 5 + 2 and feel great. In fact its worrying me a bit as I'm hoping everything is okay. I have a docs appointment on Thursday morning to start to ball rolling. Took another pregnancy test yesterday just to check as i was starting to worry x

It's like a cardi that only buttons at the top 3 or 4 buttons... They are gorgeous!

My Mum, Nana and Aunt are all knitters... DD has drawers bursting with jumpers now and always had something hand knitted when she was a baby... Even now I can spot her school cardi's out of everyone elses because they're hand made!

Hi all
WOw this thread moves so fast!
I had my physio appointment yesterday, she said that I've most likely got PGP (they dont call it SPD anymore) and basically I need to try and change my posture to ease my lower back pain, it's getting worse by the day, and my pelivs was agony yesterday, slightly better today.
She also gave me some sexy tubigrip and OH has been p!ssing himself laughing at me, Aston asked me if I had a new dress :rotfl:

I've got another appoinment today with the mental heath team at the antenatal clinic, I'm really worried about getting PND again so thought it best to get help as early as possible.

Other than that I'm fine, still feeling exhauseted but I think that's down to lack of sleep because of the back pain and umpteen trips to the loo at night!
I'm also getting alot of headaches at the moment, and am a bit worried so will have a word with the midwife at my appointment next tuesday and see what she says.

God all I ever seem to do is moan! I'm not that bad, I can feel 'Warren' moving alot now which is lovely, and I'm obbsessed with looking at various baby items on and offline!

AM - I'm constantly looking at baby stuff online and off now too. Hubby sooooo doesn't get it. he just keeps saying 'we have ages to go'.

Now that I have got a few bits and bobs i dont want to stop.

Also, came home to find a package from Cow & Gate with my free little cow yesterday. It is lovely.
