Hi everyone. Just been catching up with the latest posts and checking in to say hi really. Im now on CD3. Gawd time has deffo slowed down since we've been TTC!! Im waiting for AF to stop as I want to try checking my cervix, not that I will know what Im looking for but am keen to have a better idea of when I ovulate this month.

Hayley11 - Hope you are feeling much better now after the argument, me and my HB can both have quite a temper and our rows can be quite mega and I get so wound up inside, but since we decided to TTC I have been making a conscious effort to try and be calmer and to rise above things. Its so hard though!! Hope your Avon party goes well tomorrow nite too, hopefully people will buy lots for Xmas pressies :)

Thanks hun, we're all made up now :) We've just spent the last 5 hours getting everything ready for this party and I don't even know how many people are coming, I know about 10 are for definite but because it's an open house, they might all come at different times so i'm worried it's going to look really empty when people come :o But we've done our best so hopefully people will turn up :D

I know what you mean about time slowing down, I have never wanted my AF so bad, just want it out of the way so we can get on with it properly!!

Well I am off to bed, got to get up early tomorrow to tidy the house and get it all ready :) Night all xx

Hi, I'm nearly seven weeks now and had light bleeding for a week now. My sister is a doctor and told me not to bother the doctor unless it was painful, I've got my first antenatal on Monday so I'm hoping they will sort me out then. Was doing fine for a while but today it was red blood so a bit scary but trying to stay calm.

I know this is an awful subject to talk about and I really don't want to upset you and I really hope you are ok but I have to say this.....

....having lost 2 pgs myself I'd say go to A&E straight away, they *should* scan you to find out what....if anything...is wrong.

I know that if anything is going/has gone wrong there isn't alot can be done but personally I'd want to know, just to rest my mind.

I admit though with both my losses my spotting was dirty old blood as baby had been gone a few days by time I had any signs, though I had absolutely no pain at all. When I called my GP with my first mc I was 6 weeks gone when dirty spotting started. He said not to worry unless I got pain. I had this for a further 6 weeks. Went for 3 month scan and was told I had had mc at about 6 weeks.
With second pg, soon as I got the dirty blood I went to A&E and they confirmed mc.

    On the other hand.....
A cousin of mine bled for 5 months with one of her pg's and her son was born perfectly healthy.
Also last time I was in hospital having my second mc confirmed there was a girl in there about 5 months pg. She too was getting fresh blood but the baby was perfectly fine.

I do really really hope the baby is ok.....I mean this post with the best of intentions. I really don't want to upset you.
I just know that I wish I had someone tell me the same thing with my first mc so I could have done something sooner.

    best wishes jenny x

Every one around me is having babies. one sil due any day the other one is 4 months pg and neighbour just had hers. So glad i didn't do an early test. Shame as dh said if i was pg he was going to take me to mamas and papas just to look and get excited as they have 10% off this weekend no point now.

Phew, I am SO tired today. I hope that's a good sign. Everything seems to smell really strong, but that could be cos I no longer have a stuffy nose from my cold...

    Hope everyone's ok today.

Hi Shelly, Thanks for your kind words. The bleeding is only very light and I didn't think they would be able to tell me much at such an early stage. I was kind of waiting to see if it got heavier then I would know it was a mc. I'm actually quite good at waiting, I didn't test until a week after AF was due and then only because the dentist told me to because she wanted to do an X-ray! As you say if I do have a mc there is nothing they can do.

And anyway OH couldn't have come to the docs with me last week but will be able to on Monday and I would much rather have someone else drive me and be there with me in case it is bad news. Not long to go now :) practicing yoga to keep me clam.

Elastigirl better luck next time. I wouldn't want to buy baby stuff so early anyway - and I'm sure there will be another sale ;)

Shelly, can I ask, did you cousin bleed every day or just when she would have expected AF?

    Hi ladies :D

I have just finished my avon thingy, went very well, much better than I thought :) Had about 12 people come altogether, worked out well coz just as one group was leaving another was arriving so wasn't too crowded. And I made £80 :T I wasn't very prepared so didn't have any food ready so had to make it throughout the day and didn't really have anywhere to put it because my aunty didn't bring the decorating table that she said she would! But overall went very well and I'm very pleased!!

Think my AF is on it's way, got serious pains and feel all shivery :( Going to leave the tidying up til tomorrow, was up til 1am sorting it out and was up really early getting it all ready so i'm having a break!

    Baby dust to everyone.... :)

Well done Hayley, hope you have a relaxing evening.

Sparklygirl, since being pregnant I've felt full in the womb area - mainly due to an awful lot of wind! That and tender breasts were my first symptoms but they didn't start until after AF was late.
