EEK! I have done some research and found this here: http://www.askbaby.com/implantation-bleeding.htm

    When does it occur?

Implantation bleeding tends to occur before menstruation is expected, this is usually between six and twelve days after ovulation. Most women experience menstruation approximately 14 days after ovulation however this will depend on your individual cycle.

I'm defintely at least 7 dpo, possibly more, depending on when I ov'd - got my +OPK last Thurs afternoon. Am now sitting very still, feeling very nervous/unsure!

Jenny - sorry, I misread your first post and didn't get that your sis is a doc. Did you tell her it was bright red blood today? At least you have someone medical in the family, and surely she would be rushing you into hosp if she thought there was something wrong. Good luck for your appointment on Monday!

I had some bleeding about 9 days after conception - really light pink and brown gunge but wasn't sure if it was implantation or just because my period was due. Lasted for two and a half days.

My sister is an oncologist (cancer) so actually not much use but at least I needn't worry about cancer! She is also TTC and said she wont test until her period is two weeks late so she doesn't get overexcited about nothing.

Sorry did the quote bit wrong - the dark blue is mine.

Jenny - your sister must be soooo disciplined!! I am 98% sure that I am not pregnant this month and i'm due on Sunday but I really want to do a test just in case! But I wont, I promise....honest I wont :o

Annie - When I came off my pill in March I had something very similar to this, I have no idea what it was because obviously i'm not pregnant. I really hope it's inplantation bleeding and that you're pregnant, are you due on next weekend? Or am I getting you confused with somebody else?

elastigirl - I went for a job a couple of days before my AF once and I came on early, wasn't pleased!!

I've had a check for my cervix and I just can't tell whether it's that or not  It does feel quite hard like the end of my nose but how do you know if it's open? I don't think my finger is long enough...:rotfl: Sorry :o

With regards to my OH, it is people off his old team (he doesn't work there anymore) who he goes out with but when he used to be on a different team I was invited to everything, they were so nice, they knew that I didn't see much of my own friends and that I was a bit ill so they included me a lot and I was so grateful for it. And I have met everybody off this team apart from this one girl. I've asked him so many times what she's like, what she looks like etc (I know looks shouldn't come into it but he can be somewhat shallow my dear fella ) and i've told him I worry about her and to me, the easiest thing would be to let me meet her so I can stop worrying. But then like I said to him and like you said Annie, meeting her might make me worse because he's probably lying about what she's like. I was a bit worried about another girl because she's quite flirty/rude sometimes but I met her and she's like that with everybody, even the women so I don't worry about her anymore. Just gets me down. Sick of having this same arguement over and over. I said that he should compromise, if he wants to go out with them without me fine but then the next time he should take me with him. Isn't that fair? One of the other girls asked us both out for her birthday but he doesn't want to go.

Anyway i'll stop going on with myself now :o Baby dust to us all :D
 Think happy & you'll be happy

Thanks :D If I'm on a 25 day cycle again, which I think I am, I am actually due af on Friday 5th (I got it wrong the other day - the 4th is day 25, so I'm due the next day).

Hope you manage to sort things out with your OH.

  • Hi everyone. Just been catching up with the latest posts and checking in to say hi really. Im now on CD3. Gawd time has deffo slowed down since we've been TTC!! Im waiting for AF to stop as I want to try checking my cervix, not that I will know what Im looking for but am keen to have a better idea of when I ovulate this month.

Hayley11 - Hope you are feeling much better now after the argument, me and my HB can both have quite a temper and our rows can be quite mega and I get so wound up inside, but since we decided to TTC I have been making a conscious effort to try and be calmer and to rise above things. Its so hard though!! Hope your Avon party goes well tomorrow nite too, hopefully people will buy lots for Xmas pressies :)
