Aww Annie (((big hugs))) you seem like you need some :) Hope your flu bug goes away soon. I know it's probably easy for me to say but I think you need to try and stay positive with the baby making, I don't know how long you've been trying and I really feel for you because you're obviously desperate for a little baby but putting too much pressure on yourself is just going to stress you out hunny. Like I said easy for me to say, feel free to tell me to shut up :o

Thanks (I just noticed you're Hayley11 now, so thanks Hayley!)

This is cycle number 12 for us, with one chem pg in cycle 10 (which is what has made me realise just how much I really do want to have a baby). I did work out the other day that we probably missed my ov date on a few cycles, but that shouldn't happen now I'm doing the ov sticks.

Some days it's just good to have a day off from thinking positive - it gets to be a strain some days, so having a grumpy day helps me relax :rotfl: - I spent so many years trying to make sure I didn't get pg - I never realised it could be so difficult - especially when some people just pop out sproglings like the rest of us sneeze! But you are right - you have to keep hoping.

No you're right, you're well within your rights to have a grumpy day, I can appreciate being all smiles is a real strain when it must be so hard for you. It's good that you can come on here and have a good rant as well and we're all here to support you and try and cheer you up :)

I know what you mean, some people who do not deserve children get to have kids and then good people really struggle, it's very unfair.

My best friend was just telling me about a girl she knows, she'd been trying for a long time, can't remember how long she said and she'd been taking clomid (sp?) and she was doing the whole lot, ovulation tests, BBT, everything and then one month she just didn't do any of it, she was just having a break from it all and she got pregnant that month. I love stories like that, I know obviously it doesn't happen like that for most women but I think stories like that give people hope.

How long is it til your AF is due? I've got everything crossed that this month is your lucky month :)

I am iwantababy123 - yay no more logging in and out :D

Cedrickerry - maybe tell your OH that doing it every other night is the way to go? :D It can't hurt can it? Good luck with the baby making hunny x

Yay hi Hayley11, I will try and remember to call you ur proper name now :)

Well no sign of AF still so I think I have totally missed it this month. Pesky pill, wish I had come off it when we got married back in May now, still hindsight is a wonderful thing eh!!

Starting to notice a bit more CM today so I'm thinking that perhaps I should start BD again soon incase I do ovulate this month even without having had AF!! Gawd knows if this is even possible but I am all for positive thinking :) Also, I am hating just doing nothing and waiting. Just seen a digital thermometer on ebay for £3.98 delivered here so I think I will order that up and start temping. Ooh also my home pg test kits have been dispatched today so hopefully they will arrive tomo and I think as they are cheapies I will do one more when they come just to be on the triple safe side. I am clearly not getting the hint that I'm obviously not pg this month!! lol!!

Annie M - I know exactly what you mean about other people seeming to get pg v easily, I guess its cos its those pg you hear about the most, I dont suppose so many people talk about it as much when they have been trying for a while. I can understand that, but it builds you into a false sense of 'it should be quite quick to conceive'... or thats how I feel anyway. Think ive confused myself there :o

:D Talking to everyone on here always helps - it's a good support network, and the fact that it's just one (or 2) thread(s) means it's a bit more close-knit than some of the ttc-specific sites. Maybe tomorrow I'll be able to cheer up someone else :T

AF is due 5th Dec, am on cd15 of a 25 day cycle. Got a positive OPK last Thurs, so am well into the 2ww. Thank you for the crossed fingers :D

I understand what you mean fattybooboo :)

I ordered some of those early pg tests that you told us about off ebay and some ov tests off the same people :o Can't hurt to have them in eh? So they should come soon. I can't wait to get my AF out of the way now so we can start trying "properly", not due on til Sunday though.

AnnieM - I'm always miserable about something or other so you'll have plenty of opportunities to cheer me up :rotfl: I like how close knit this thread seems to be, and the pregnancy one. I love MSE but never really feel part of any of the many groups but i've only been coming on here a few days and I feel like I belong, you're all so nice :)

I think the dedicated ttc sites/message boards are so big there can often be a 'clique' who buddy up and talk amongst themselves, so that it's difficult for newbies to 'get a foothold' iyswim. I signed up to a couple of sites, but I read rather than post. Hopefully, nobody gets ignored on this thread - it's always good to hear how people are getting on, and people will always offer advice/help/opinions on stuff - mostly if you're thinking/feeling/going through something, you can bet someone here has/is too!

Oh, and hugs :grouphug: (oh dear that does look dodgy!) re the feeling like you're not being noticed out in the 'real world'. Some people are just so rude, I think

By the way, can I just make everyone aware of the thread (if you haven't seen it already) about the most MSE place to have your waters break - it really made me chuckle!

I am just the same! I'm a really nice person, honest! And once I get to know somebody I am so chatty and funny but I always feel invisible in a group of strangers :o I went to this big Avon thing a few months ago, over 400 people there and I spent pretty much the whole day by myself :( I ended up crying in the hotel room on the phone to my OH saying I wasn't going back down for the evening do because I was sick of being ignored but he talked me round and although I think two people spoke to me the whole evening, it wasn't as bad as the day. I've got loads more examples but I wont bore you :o

Have you seen my sig..Hayley aka thread killer? It's so true! Did you ever see the HUGE thread Martin posted - the have a go at martin thread, there were thousands of replies, I posted and it just died :o I think somebody might have posted now but I couldn't believe I almost killed that one.
