Hello lovely ladies! Not poked my head round the door to post before but am a habitual lurker! Would you mind if I ask a quick question - I'm just wondering what sort of preg tests you all use? Do you stick with brands like clearblue or first response, or do you get the lots from ebay eg 20 for £5 or whatever? I'm a bit new to all this and just wondering what is the best way to go......

    TIA! MM

    A bit of both moleymoo

eBay cheapies are good, as long as they are the ones that have red dye. First response are apparently good as well, but if you are a serial POASer then the eBay cheapies are the best

Don't worry Gena, I knew you meant me but I am easily forgotten! Thanks for the words of wisdom, I'm sure we'll battle through it OK and much not stop TTC completely...

And thanks becs for remembering me!

Ooh nunnygirl, just noticed the news about your wedding - how exciting!

Would you believe in between the diagnosis and swallowing down his first Prozac, my OH mentioned marriage also  so I might have news of a different kind soon! :o

AH MadMac how could we ever forget! You have been so encouraging and supportive and with some of us oldtimers for quite some time! Your level headedness and kind words have helped many of us and I'm sure will continue to do so I hope! I'm sure with your help and support your oh is a very lucky man who will soon be finding himself back to his old self.

Oh wow, fingers crossed MadMac!! OH and I have been engaged nearly 17 months now so I thought it was time I took the bull by the horns and start the planning.

Think I've already found my dress and it's only £55 :T:T

Thank you so much becs - I'm turning in to a bit of a late night poster with these longer days I'm working, but keep telling myself the money is worth it! Of course I'm happy to still lurk and help when I can - not sure if officially we should stop TTC but OH seems happy enough when in my arms to keep trying, so we'll see how things go. I'm still in a bit of shock TBH as it all seems to have come to a head so fast, but poor thing he can't help it and I told him earlier I'll love him and stick with him whatever life throws at us.

Nunnygirl, that sounds like a real bargain and to get that ticked off your list will be a big plus! I'll be looking for a cheapie dress as well probably soon - I've always been very reluctant to make it so official, I like to pretend I'm still a free spirit - but maybe now the time has come, x

Depression can be a hard thing to get your head round. We all have times where we feel a bit low etc and fed up and we know we just have to give ourselves a kick up the backside and stop moping, but depression isn't this at all. It's an illness, a physical imbalance in the brain somewhere and because alot of us don't go through this it's hard to not think of it in the same way. I'm sure you'll both come through the other side soon and be a much stronger couple for it. I hope you stick with us or I'll miss another long term companion! (see purely selfish on my part!):rotfl:

Well, as you say I'm an old timer MSE so won't be going anywhere fast - don't you worry I'll still pop along in the late hours with all my cruddy natter and useless info! :D

Morning ladies - just a quick pitstop from me. Got impatient and tested this morning, it's another BFN to add to the list for this month :(

Oh well, lots more BD'ing to look forward to next time - and it's our wedding anniversary in Aug too so an even better excuse!
