Morning all not much to report here just waiting for Ov...should be at weekend so Dh doesn't have the 'I've been at work' excuse:rotfl:
Oooo Nunny & Madmac how exciting for you both:j:j
Madmac, I'd say it's your day, wear what you want and will be comfortable in:D My aunt got married at the grand old age of 44 and she wore a stunning purple ball gown for the ceremony, then afterwards she amazed us all by doing a bucksfizz, rip your skirt off thing during their 1st dance. was hilarious and scary coz we thought she'd ruined the dress:eek::eek: She'd actually got a friend to make a shorter skirt underneath and put poppers on the skirt IFSWIM as she's not a frilly dress type of person:D
Sooo jealous of you both, I really miss planning mine and my sister's told me to calm down about planning hers seeing as its still 12months away and it's practically done:o:p

Thanks special0ffer, it's not a huge meringue dress, it's just something pretty in cream with embroidered flowers on it. More like a special occassion dress than a wedding dress, but I'm not up for the whole shebang with regards weddings and things. I'm not even 100% sure that it's the one I want, but I've got long enough to look for one so that will be my fall back if I can't find one better
I can understand people say it's the best day of your life, and I want it to be a special day, but ultimately I just want to be my OH's wifey :T (never thought I'd say that!!!)
Tinksy, the only way you'll know is testing then hun:T I'd wait for AF not to show before you test though
That was exactly how I felt about it. I ended up getting a bridesmaid's dress made in ivory with a very small train (puddle train I think its called) added. £185 all inWell, after much soul searching last night I think we'll be married by the end of the year! Just a very small do, immediate family only and no big event - so completely off topic, I'm not sure I want to marry in a white/cream/gold dress as it just feels wrong at my age and this far into the relationship it just feels like a formality. But OH seems keen and if it gives him something to focus on and look forward to then I will give in later!
So do you think it is wrong to wear a red dress (sort of simple and long taffeta, like a ball gown) or maybe a blue?
No, its not wrong to wear a coloured dress - its your wedding, your special day and you wear what you want! If that's what you want to do don't let other people stick their oars in! :cool:Never argue with an idiot, he just brings you down to his level and beats you with experience.0 -
Hi kmckee... thats horrible you poor thing
I apologise if you've already said but why do you have to wait 2-3 months to ov again?
HI because it wasnt until CD69 that i OV this cycle... some reason im all muddled , stopped pill last oct and was told up to 6 months maybe of gettin regular, but unfortunately perhaps for some other reason now mine are gettin longer! CD 89 now, af never showed overnight, due to test tommorrow but not holdin out any hope.... tryin to be positive but just doesent feel as if i am0 -

Hi girls:D
Ooooo lots of wedding planning - how exciting!!!
My dress was pinky/purply... there was no way I was going to wear white -and spend a fortune!;)
Our wedding came to around £800. It's only one day so why spend a fortune
CD8 so will be starting the SMEP but I'm feeling a bit crap:( Hope I'm going to be well enough to BD!BLOWINGBUBBLES:kisses2: SMARTIE120 -
Oh how exciting!! That's brilliant news about the weddings
Maybe having your minds focused on planning will help your bodies into falling pregnant
smartie - I managed it 2 days ago, when I was feeling worse than I am now - I said "as long as I can just lay here and do nothing......." :rotfl: turned out to be just what I needed0 -
Tinksy if you ov'd at the weekend the egg would not have even fertilised yet let alone implanted. I would say even now if af isn't due until 21st you must have a VERY long lp.Normal would be 14 days putting ov around 7th although most women find lp shorter rather tahn longer. Mine is 10-11 days.0

Hi - my cycle was 28 days last month (normally 27 days though) so when should I start testing for ovulation?0
-
Hi Girls,
CD21 doe me and still no positive on the OV tests. I don't think I will waste my money on those anymore as they don't like me!
Good luck with the wedding planning. I would have loved to have had a pink or red wedding dress but it just didn't look right on me.
Greenr - I would say from CD10 but perhaps someone else can confirm.

Oooh weddings! Sounds exciting. Wear whatever colour makes you happiest. I did away with convention when I got married back in March. We went to Gretna Green, just me, OH and our little girl and I got married in a short emerald green monsoon dress. We then went back to our caravan (on a holiday park!), made spag. bol and took our daughter bowling to 'teach her how'!!!
Anything that makes you happy is the way to go!Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky'
