    Hi,
Can I come back and join you all? I was lurking around here about 6 months ago but the time wasn't right for me and my OH as we were planning to move house. We're now settled into the new place so are going to start trying for a baby this month :) So excited :)

    Sticky babydust to everyone :)

Ah Kmckee I was thinking of you, what a horrible day. So very sad. Did they get the results of the post mortem back yet?

Snugglepants, I hope you feel better son and thanks for the babydust! The new guidelines now state if you think you have flu you should stay at home and get your GP to come to you incase of swine flu. You should also get someone else to get any medicines you need, not always that practical is it! I hope you feel better soon.

Thanks everyone for the overly generous praise of the cakes, if you could see how easy it was! It was just buttercream piped on with the right nozzle! each cake took about 10 seconds! Seriously they were my first ever attempt at using a piping bag. Confuzzled you need a Wilton 2D tip which I ordered online from sugarshack. Have a go at the roses, cupcakes are very in for weddings so you could do individual rose cupcakes in their colour scheme? You could do different flavours of sponge and icing.

    Morning ladies,

Kmckee my thoughts are with you and your friends at this very difficult time.

I am giving up ttc at the moment as OH is having a very serious problem with it all at the moment. I think i need to concentrate on making him happy and relaxed at the moment, and then we can get back to bding like crazy. Also it will make my new job a bit easier and make it more likely i might get maternity pay, so not all bad.

I hope your days are wonderful.

Very sticky baby dust to all :)

    Morning Girls,

CD21 for me and still no positive on the OV tests so we aren't doing very well on the SMEP at all. But I think I may have OV on Saturday so I may have just missed the surge. I also had a massive wobble about money at the weekend, worrying that we won't have enough money to live on during maternity leave. But I think that's what everyone must feel.

Kmckee - sorry to hear about the news of your friend, my thoughts are with you.

Leopardlady - I think some attention on your OH will be a good thing, even my DH has complained that I only want him for one thing at the moment ;)

Good morning all, I tried to post last night when I got in - admittedly it was quite late - but the forums were down for server upgrades! I think it might have been a bit of an emergency...

So where do I start? OH is now on pills to try and help his depression. I am pleased he is finally getting some help, but don't dare ask if this puts our TTC on hold? So fingers crossed for a +ve at the weekend. I am feeling absolutely shattered and have woken up feeling all sickly - keep having to tell myself I might just be getting 'flu!!

Kmckee, well done for getting through it - what a horrible thing to have to do and I cannot even begin to think how you and yours must be feeling. Big hug hun, x

Leopardlady, glad the job is going well but am starting to wonder if your OH is having the same trouble as mine! Hope you can rescue him better than I could, x

B2B - we all worry about money, wouldn't it be nice to not have to worry about it! But I wouldn't fret too much about your OV testing - it is possible you just missed the peak test as I know I could try in the morning and evening and still miss the peak line in the middle of the day! Just as long as you were BDing around that time you're still in with a chance, x

    Welcome back mancbird!

Wishing you all a good day, xx

    Mornign everyone

MadMac, the forum/server had a powercut amd they were trying to make sure everything was back in order before they put it back online. I managed to get back on just before they switched it off properly and that was the message. Seems everything is back to normal though

CD 6 for me and I'm not feeling my ususal perky self. I've has a sore throat and a bit of a chesty cough since Sunday, but that seems to be getting better.

Supposed to be going to my nephews sports day this afternoon, but the weathers looking a little......meh.....so I'm not 100% we're going yet.

Tinksy, make sure you are drinking plenty of water hun, you might get dehydrated if you are feeling sick and not taking in enough fluids. I'd be having a word with your doctor if it's been going on a while, just to make sure it's nothing serious

  • Morning all, CD8 for me, still feeling like pants but OH is home from his trip :) Off work again today, felt much better last night but appeared to have a relapse overnight and woke feeling worse. I'm so bored at home as I can't do much and the TV is terrible in the daytime :(

Leopardlady-that sounds like a good plan to me, good luck!

tinksy - I second the fluid thing. I've been feeling like poo since sunday (tummy bug which triggered my IBS) and the only thing I'm managing is water and even that's giving me heartburn. But I know if I don't drink it I'll feel 100 times worse.

Madmac-sounds like almost all of us ttc girls are getting sick! Hope it doesn't turn into flu for you.

    Stickybabydust to you all xx
