Gymfiend, lots of us have been through those thoughts, chats and feelings with our OHs, it is only natural really - but hopefully you can do as I do and just keep reminding yourself that he loves you and wants to be with you, no matter what. It is silly, I know, but sometimes I have to tell myself that to keep everything in perspective. It really does help! Big hug hun, x

Emmzy, I'm here if you want to chat! My OH is still away and I have been climbing up the walls, cannot wait to see him again later this week, just in time for OV I am hoping! Dry spells are always hard, but when he is so far away there's not much I can do about it! Pounce on your man as soon as you can...

Hiya madmac whens your OH back? I couldnt handle being away from mine for more than a few hours i find it hard to amuse myself when im left on my own!
The plan was for him to get a taxi to the hospital first thing in the morning and come back and spend the day in bed but now his brothers coming ( with the horrible pregnant girlfriend)
They asked me as im the only catholic in that side of the family to be godmother on the phone so i guess ill have to get over not liking her lol just hope she doesnt think ill spoil her one as much as i do my godson lol

So very bored still I made some bread but its not worked for some reason its soggy and sank in the middle but theres alot of dry flour round the edges stupid breadmaker. It smells amazing and wants me to eat it just doesnt look healthy lol

Hi Emmzy, hopefully I'll be with him by Thursday, but won't know for a couple of days yet. You do get used to being apart after a while, but this time he seems to have been away for longer. Oh well, not long now!

I'm sure you will love the new addition to the family more than you do its mother! That is always the way with babies, isn't it, they instantly get underneath your skin and just don't let go. Pesky things

Sounds like your yeast didn't stay dry long enough to me - or your breadmaker paddle is up the creak? What a bummer, all that time waiting for it and nothing to show at the end. Ermm, sounds familiar to me!! :rotfl:

lol a bit like this TTC nonsense eh you put in all that effort and it doesnt work!

Sure ill probably get slated for various reasons about posting this but never mind, OH did some time in prison last year for something he done when he was younger and i felt like my world had ended but somehow i managed to get on with it so i guess you do learn to cope on your own for a while. The only reason i got out of bed was for the dog and Ive refused to walk the dog ever since as i had to do it all the time when he was away lol the bloody animals bigger than i am!

I always resented the fact his brothers GF got pregnant the same week she got her implant out but i guess now im involved i feel less jealous. Babies are evil when they do that cute stuff that makes you love them I can see me spending alot more time with her just to play with baby lol

When we had a dog (long gone now) it was all that got me out of bed at the weekends, funny how pets can fill the place of a demanding child so easily! It is easier now as I'm more used to being on my own, but this TTC business does get in the way and seems to dictate when he is back - me: 'I've had a +ve OV test, get home!' him:'Err, OK, might take me half a day to reach you but I'll do my best' :eek:

I'm getting more and more jealous of all PG ladies I see - why them and not me? Grrrr. Doesn't seem to get any easier :mad:

lol @ demanding him to come home when u get a positive. It must be a pain though espcially if he couldnt get back and your "wasting" a good egg lol

I didnt mean you lot would slate me but iv had it in a few other posts on this forum i asked a question about claiming sloping out money and i ended up not even reading half the replys as it was all about how he was a criminal and shouldnt get a penny. The social workers even had a problem with us TTC as they think hes likey to abuse our children just because it happened to him. I went all kinds of psycho on them its their fault it happened as they put him in the care of the person that done it in the first place!! Anyway subject change as its depressing lol

What kind of dog did you have? we have a the BIGGEST labrador ever hes almost 15 stone and not fat its all muscle he can put his paws on OHs shoulders without a problem and hes 6ft! I wanted a chihuahua but ended up with a monster lol Wouldnt change him for the world though theres nothing better than wet doggy kisses when your depressed

Guess its time for bed have to be up early to give OH a hand lol (excuse my filthy mind!) Night night x

We had a Heinz 57 dog, a cross of lots, more like a collie than anything, but I couldn't have wished for a more gentle and soft dog, always a comfort when times were hard! Oh don't think about that (slaps self) you cannot get sad now!
