We are going to TTC Jan 2011 now. We have a plan and I feel all the better for it. Just wanted to say that I read this everyday and although we aren't actively trying (although we wouldn't be particularly upset if we were caught out.....) I feel very empowered and undaunted about it all thanks to all the info you girls have given me.

I just wish there were more BFP to celebrate more often. Surely 2009 is the summer of luuuurrrrrvvvvveee and we'll see a lot more!! Fingers crossed for you all!

Baby cakes looks fab becs i would def pay that ammount if not a bit more!!

EA i had similar problem with my mother and mother inlaw when it came to our guests! If i were u i would write up a rough guest list, day and night and approach it in this way, say how numbers are buildin up and u can put pressure on by sayin how u would like to invite more of ur friends 'but u have to draw the line somewhere'.
I compramised in the end with both my parents by inviting a few to the evenin do that DH didnt want to come, it was so busy etc that he never even noticed and some didnt come anyway!!

Well im stil feelin a bit down had another cry with mum earlier on CD 68 i think? and stil no sign of AF, had little niggly abdo pain earlier in week expectin AF to arrive but she hasnt, was thinkin of maybe doin another test cant remember last time i did, but cant bear the disappointment at the mo

Hmm, i guess. Its just i dont want the extended family at the wedding either. They've been nothing but nasty to me ever since i was younger.
When i was going through my bit of a goth stage, they said it was disgusting and how could my mum let me dress like that. And they hate my sister to. Who is going to be at the wedding and a big part of it aswell.
(she's a bridesmaid and a witness and doing some readings)

I spoke to my dad about it and he agreed with me, the wedding i want is one to share with my close family and friends

Anyway, (((hugs))). Have you spoke to the doc about lack of AF? A 68 day cycle seems ages :eek:

Maybe leave it a few days and test then? Or you could test on the 27th with me and Smartie? x

At the end of the day its urs and OH special day and u should have their who u wish, i know its hard and u dont want to upset anyone especially ur mum, but the amount of my friends who said to me when i was organisin ours was how tha,t was what they regretted!

Just spoke to mum about re visitin the doc, iv had 'second' letter about my smear, as i had grade3 cells taken away lst yr and i need to go and check nothin has returned! I was plannin on makin app just convinced that AF was comin this wk so have put it off but maybe i should go and i can have a chat to him about cycles too!

My mums having a fit about people were inviting to our wedding as well.. We have to invite a uncle that iv only met once and he was horrible to me I was only about 9 at the time. Yet my friend who she hates she doesnt want there. I told her if she was paying she could invite who she likes but im still skint so I guess shes not taking me up on the offer lol

EA, we have already decided that our wedding (ermm, not said yes yet!) will be immediate (and carefully chosen) family only and a couple of friends. The maximum number will probably be about 14 people which suits me fine! I know my parents would want the world and his wife to attend, so we are going to pay for the lot so that we keep control and final say in everything. No way am I going to have certain members of my family there! I would rather run away than go through that, and my OH knows it.

Have you considered picking a dress that allows for an expanding bump? I think I might!

Ooh, we might have 3 BFPs appear on here on the same day!!!!
