Big hugs to everyone who needs them
CD9 and I feel rubbish
I have loads of work to do but have just gone to bed for a lie down... and slept for over an hour:eek: I've been getting odd tummy pains and back ache and am feeling a bit moody. I do usually have all sorts of tummy pains because I have Crohns disease but these pains are different. Do you think this is due to the first month off the pill???
We've gone well over 24 hours without BDing which wasn't the plan this month.BLOWINGBUBBLES:kisses2: SMARTIE120 -
KmcKee, don't beat yourself up too much. It is possible to OV twice in one cycle, just obviously rare for most, but could be the case for you this last cycle. As you are now 8 months on, you might just find your cycles are naturally long, but as I've said many times on here before it took my body a year to settle after I came off the pill after many years on it. Try not to fret too much about your cycles and just BD as and when the time feels right for you - oh and when your CM is showing an appearance!
Tartantotty, hi :hello: I was recommended this book on here:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/0091887585
and found it a real eye opener in all respects! Very useful if you want more knowledge and to have more understanding of how your body handles such things. So now recommended by me also!
The only downside was there wasn't a copy to be had in local libraries, so I ended up buying it. Ouch! Not very MSE.
Kindofagilr, I wouldn't take one with me personally - I would just try to enjoy myself and then do it if necessary when you come home, but entirely up to you and wouldn't exactly take up much room in your suitcase! :rotfl:
Annie, well you know if your temp keeps rising and rising then you'll likely get see a BFP soon, is that likely do you think? When your temp drops after an OV peak then you know AF is on the way, I hate seeing that happen so will keep hoping for you x
Oh Smartie, have a hug from me :grouphug:. Just possible that you're stressing a little over this TTC business and your Crohns might be complaining? Otherwise could be an OV pain depending on where you are in your cycle - or you've caught a bug! Get better soon x
Nichart, I'll keep things crossed for you also!
Nikabella - you rant away hun, we understand! Good to hear from you anyway x
Hi Leopardlady - hope you're enjoying the TTC break - I am still having one imposed on me but can't say I'm enjoying it much! Hopefully I can pin him down this weekend and make some sense of what is going on in his head. Men!
Becs - hi! I have to agree that paramedics are exempt - it is just doctors and consultants that think they are a superior species!
Who have I missed? No idea - so apologies if I have! But you all have my full support whatever your circumstances and I'm only a PM away if needed. Work is keeping me frantically busy so I'm really sorry for these essays I keep posting0 -
Thanks for checking on us MadMac... temps are starting to drop post OV (DPO10 here) so I suspect AF is on the way. In a way though, I like knowing she's coming before she arrives.. makes it a little bit easier to handle the dissapointment, ya know?
Today is only the 1st day of a dropped tempreture, but every chart I've had (all 2 of them!) has me dropping temp from DPO10 onwards.
Although looking on FF, seems like lots of ladies have a drop in temp on DPO10 and if it picked back up again on DPO11 they ended up pregnant. *clutches at further straws*
(sneaky peak at my chart if you're interested .... http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/25cad7)0 -
Hi ladies just checking in to say im not forgetting you all.
quick update, i have had some problems with my knee for along while now and they hospital want to do an operation but I had a letter today saying they need to see me at hospital on 6/7/09 regarding a pre op assessment, so I gather Im being put forward for surgery for it. My dilema is this, I am due to start the clomid this month and have waited so long for this to come do you think that having an operation while taking clomid can affect the clomid in working or should I postpone theop. I really cannot face postponing the clomid treatment, as I have fought hard to be where I am now with the consultants etc. Any advice really appreciated.
Has anyone had operation while taking clomid.??? What is the best solution. I knew this would happen, I am so gutted nothing ever seems to run smooth for me, I pass one hurdle and blow me straight away up comes another.
Any advice greatly appreciated. thanks ladies.
Goodluck woth your bedding ladies0 -
Nichart can I ask were you not ovulating At All, as I too do not ovulate at all, and will be taking clomid shortly. I am a little more confident reading your post now that may be I can ovulate. If you have any info available to help me I would be grateful although I dont want to sound intrusive.
Anyway goodluck with taking the clomid.0 -

Hiya no ask away, I did not ask though lol I am really rubbish I did not even think to ask I was just happy with her saying you did not before but you do now your on clomid, I know how hard it is regarding the operation and having to put off trying for a baby I started trying then had to stop to have a hip replacement could not try for either 4 or 6 months after, then started trying had to stop to have both of my knees replaced then started trying again then had to have my elbow replaced had to put baby trying on hold another 6 months until I had my other done this has been over the space of 4 years I then got refered for fertility treatment, it might be best but only you can decide :grouphug:0 -
Hi everyone where did the sunshine go today?!!

Good luck 4 sunday annie, fingers crossed lovey x
Thanx for comments Madmac, oh i so hope i did OV twice that has made me feel betta cos i was certain i OV first time when on hols with mum around CD14
The thought of waitin now another poss 2 months before OV again is unbearable... i try not to think too much about it and i was doin ok until my chart said that!! x
kencokenco what a bummer! why does life throw up so many hurdles...? not sure of the answer really but think i would stay with the clomid as it means so much, when u go for pre op talk to them and ask if their are any complications, if u get no joy let me know and il try n find out from one of the docs in A&E
Sorry cedrickerry that spottin has arrived x
Hope u feel betta soon smartie12, maybe after a rest ul bounce back.0 -

Thank u homeaway, everythin u said makes sense yes, i have only just started tempin wish i had before now but stil...
My temp rose last wk accordin to chart and yes i had a little EWCM so prob did OV then when thinkin bout it logically it just never registered with me as i assumed it was too late in cycle bein CD43..
Why wont my cycles regulate? what can i do? i was told max 6mnth after comin off pill, now in mnth 8..and only had 3 periods so far!
Try not to worry it can take some women longer to get the pill out of their system than others. If you go onto the ovusoft.com website there is a thread on alternative remedies on there. You might find something of interest on there. I know that some women have used maca and found it useful but others have not. I suppose it is just the case of finding out what works for you. Have you got a basal thermometer for charting ? It is one that goes to two decimal places and is more accurate than a normal one, some people find that it is easier to see the thermal shift with one. It did make a difference to me.0
