Trying For a Baby II

Well OH has changed his mind
or made up his mind should I say.
My friend came over last night with her two kids (she was visiting from London where she moved a year ago) her kids are 9 and 18 months.
And he played with them for ages, the 18 month old and OH totally hit it off, they were playing catch together and tennis on the wii lol (we have only seen Nathan a few times, and they have been when we have gone down to London for christening's, first holy communion etc, so he'd never really had a chance to be around kids if that makes sense)
So after they left he said that he wants to go for it, he wants to def start trying for a baby after holiday as after seeing nathan he realised how cool and loving and nice it would be to have a child, and that it doesnt seem as scary as he originally thought.
I was nervous about the kids coming over after out insane day of talking yesterday, but turns out it was the best thing for him.Debt £30,823.48/£44,856.56 ~ 06/02/21 - 31.28% Paid OffMortgage (01/04/09 - 01/07/39)

smartie12 we have decided to wait until sept to start ttc to give my body time to adjust and let the folic acid kick in, but ive heard many people come off straight away and have no porblems.

Morning folks,
not been around much this week so thought i'd pop in for a quick catch up. What i thought was a tlp ended up being the evap line, was a little dissapointed but onwards and upwards.
Been experimenting this week. I got some cheapy ov strips and found some fr ones. Been using them both but i'm only getting pos results from the fr ones. Think i must be having a shortish cycle this month coz i got my first pos opk on cd4 (with fr and neg with cheapy!) and i'm still getting pos opks from fr on cd8 (not yet had a pos from cheapy ones although line is a tiny bit darker). Anyone else had probs with cheapy opk strips?

Hi,For those that have had early miscarriages and early bleeding that's been fine how was it? I'm 5 weeks and had faint spotting last night. Saw GP and was told could be implantation bleeding but today it seems heavier and I'm not so sure. Have an appointment again later but I know if its bad news there isn't anything that can be done.Winnie0

Catw0man- I love planning my wedding, i keep thinking of all these ideas
I found my perfect dress on landybridal for 200 euros
Judging by how things are going with TTC i may not be able to get it and might have to get a maternity wedding dress unless i get pregnant before July
How are we all this morning?

Hi Winnie,
Oh, I hope you're OK, I'm sending you a big virtual hug. I had a mc at around 5 and a half weeks. It started as a pinky discharge, turned to brown then bright red but was only ever visable when I wiped so was by no means heavy but it was constant and there was no pain. My GP also said it might be implantation but I've since read this happens around 9 DPO. The only advice I can give you is if you have pain or the bleeding is heavy go straight to A&E as it could be ectopic. Sadly if it is a mc there's nothing you can do. However, I was told that although bleeding in early pregnancy is not normal it is very common. Also, the early pregnancy unit will not see you before 6 weeks as they won't be able to pick anything up on the scan. Call NHS Direct if you need medical advice, I found them very helpful.
I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you x0
