Hi Girls,
Not much to report just that my DH said we could buy one of those clear blue monitors if we don't fall over the next few months. It seams he has ruled out waiting six months before we start any of that since going on holiday as going away and seeing all the families has made him realise he wants to have a family ASAP. And because my cycle is all over the place he has finally seen the benefits of getting one.

Hi B2B,
They were still half price in tesco last weekend.0 -
@MadMac - Thanks for the welcome. It is like being in the secret service not telling anyone lol!
I wondered if anyone ele had brought from Fertility plan on ebay?? They sell test strips & thermometers.
I am going to have a read up on LH (luteinizing hormone) & FSH (follicle stimulating hormone) blood tests as I am not really 100% clear about them.0 -

We're going Alton Towers tomorrow:j:j:j
I have a 13 year old from a previous relationship and some of you might know I met hubby here on MSE:D
Sadly I've been told things aren't going to be straightforwardand if I'm lucky enough to conceive I'll probably have risky pregnancy/childbirth. BUT we have decided to go ahead anyway
What I need help with is what all those abbreviations mean???:o:confused::rotfl:Some I can guess but if someone could fill me in with what they mean!BLOWINGBUBBLES:kisses2: SMARTIE120 -
im pretty sure that some mse'ers are finding ovulation kits on the clearance shelf at boots, will go and trawl through the thread for some more info,
ok found this post, by Lisalikestosave on the boots grabbit thread,
Sorry if this has been posted. I bought a persona fertility monitor in my small local boots today. It was £4.25 reduced from £70. It was the starter kit. In other stores they were still £70.
Hope this can help someone.

Hi becs, hopefully it will just be a blip month and will settle again for you - I had one last month when I missed the OV completely so I have now read it can just happen sometimes, stress and illness and so on the usual causes. Big hug anyway and good luck with your test.
Nunnygirl, sorry to read that - has AF properly appeared now as it might not be on the way perhaps? Oh well, you know more about this then me, but as you say there is always next month and if AF appears, then the next OV is nearer!
EA, hope you're feeling better soon hun. I am all hay fevered up this morning after cutting the grass. Cannot stop sneezing now! Having a Magnum now to make me feel better - it is helping, I'm sure :rotfl:0 -
Hi, everyone, Sorry not been on for a few weeks.
I have been in hospital getting a few problems sorted. But im back now and glad to say feeling so much better.
Hope everyone is ok, haven't read through all the bits ive missed since going into hospital, but will finish reading in a bit.
The one thing I did say while in hospital was that they should have a little internet room, for those of us that like to log on for updates. (lol) The nurse looked at me as if I was going mad as well)
Well counting down the days to my fertility appt to start Clomid properly. I cannot wait, feelnig so much better and not so worthless as a women.
I was starting to become very depressed with it all, and it all became a little to much for me at the time. Had many days crying, feeling useless, worthless, even felt like giving up my job at one point and leaving my partner, as didn't feel it was fair on him to go through all this because of me. I went through a really bad patch but glad to say im back and back with alot more fighting spirit inside me. (soooo bring it on)
I ready for it all now, I have also lost another stone in weight whether that was the stress etc I dont know, but it was the one good thing to happen. But having said that still no periods at all, not even a little trickle.
Well hope you are all doing good, and Im back online with you all to go through this journey one more time. yey.0 -
Kencokenco, good to hear from you and glad you are doing OK. Having spent nearly a month in total in hospital last year, I know only too well how frustrating it can be! You know you are worth far more than you think, so hang in there and try to stay positive.
Hopefully AF will be along soon enough and you'll be cursing with the rest of us all over again!
Welcome back x0
