Have also been catching up on the PG thread and read Sami's post for Elle_Gee  Have been blubbing ever since. I really shouldn't pop in there to catch up!

Ooh, lots of SS on here, and looking good as I read it. Fingers crossed x
  • Hello,

I'm an existing MSE member but have given myself a new name to post on this part of the site just because there is a possibility that people who know me could guess who I am by reading other posts I have made & noone apart from my OH knows we are trying (thought it was a good idea to tell him lol!)

My story is that I came off the pill last July after 15 years. Periods settled down straight away so we started trying but since my period 2nd December, I had only been having periods every 8 weeks so I went to see my GP on Monday last week. He booked me a LH & FSH blood test which I just had on Friday so no results as yet. The thing is my period started on Thursday night (last period was 9th April so based on the 8 week theory, next one expected June) a gap of 6 weeks. I told the nurse but she said it didnt matter & took the bloods.
My OH has a child from a previous relationship. He is 40 & i am coming up 31.
So I am just waiting for results & then will go from there. I have been speed reading some of this very long thread - wow! I will have to take a crash course because all I have been doing is counting from my period & then BD-ing when I think the time is right lol! I have been on ebay looking at the kits from fertility plan (mix of 50 ovulation & pregnancy tests & thermometer).
So thanks for reading, lots of Baby dust to all!!

Welcome want2bme, I am in the same boat in that only me and my OH know we are TTC and it is lovely to be able to come on here and chat with others about all the ins and outs of it!

Very daunting when we first started, but getting much more used to it now and have actively researched fertility issues to I now know more than my doctor! Good luck anyway and lots of people find when you come off the pill it can take a while for things to settle in to a pattern x

So, morning all! Any test news to come today I wonder?

    Hi everyone,
Not having a good month here, after the past 2 cycles with me ov'ing on cd14 & cd13 I thought they had finally managed to get the drugs for my tumour right.
However I am now cd15 and have still not had a peak on cbfm. This means assuming I get 1 tommorow would be ov'ing on cd17. I'm really worried again incase this is a reflection of my levels going up again. I have a blood test booked for tuesday to check them as seeing my consultant on 1st june.

Morning everyone.....well I think I'm out. Have had some brown blood this morning, but I still feel like rubbish and had a weird taste in my mouth this morning, but that could have been from brushing my teeth and using my new mouthwash........hhhmmmmm

Onwards and upwards to next month
