Trying For a Baby II

Shelly - Pregnacare didn't agree with me either! I eventually found the Boots Pregnancy ones and I'm fine on those - if a little, ermm, windy
Twinklie - I used to get the folic acid in Superdrug as they often do the 112 tablet bottles on 2 for 1 x
Thanks for the info. I might try the Boots ones to see how I go. I'm windy normally anyway so a little more won't hurt :rotfl: What did pregnacare do to you? They gave me horrendous headaches.
I'll also compare FA prices in Superdrug too. I'l take any deals I can get.
Thanks again:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -
Hi everyone, hope you all had a great easter.
Well as you all know my bloods were normal for once (yey) BUT I have a question for you all.??
I have had a really bad cramping in my lower pelvis on the right side, which is what I used to get before my Af was due, although as you all know my last proper af was 7yrs ago. Today I notice very thick sticky whitey mucus.(sorry if to much info). So after reading from you all this could be ovulating etc I pull out an ov stick and test. Now my question is Am I ovulating naturally for the first time??? Because my ov stick has the 2 little pink lines, although one of them is faint they both showed up almost instantly. Do you think it is just wishful thinking or do you think it could be.
Sorry to ask you all, but I just found this so strange that I have had no periods etc for so long and then suddenly I get like period cramps and then all this mucus?? If not what is it.
ohhhh im so totally confused. My partner thinks that because im finally feeling happy with the treatment plan etc that my body has begun to relax and this may be a Af
Any inof kindly received please?????

This is a sign of ovulation hun (amongst other things) The pain you had could have been an egg being released

I got my BFP! I waited until today to test as had BFN on Thurs, Fri (day AF due) & Sat but still no AF. Very very excited and hoping it will be the start of a happy and healthy 9 months:D
Good luck and baby dust to everyone on this thread :A0 -
This could be where your problem lies. I was told by a fertility doctor that a normal healthy fertile couple should have sex every 2-3 days. This keeps sperm at its optimum.
This was mentioned on the program a while ago 'The Great Sperm Race' I have linked to the page here.... http://www.channel4.com/programmes/the-great-sperm-race/articles/fertility-tips-for-men
it says....
1. Ejaculate regularly
Evidence shows that men who ejaculate regularly (every two or three days) have healthier sperm than men who ejaculate too frequently or who try and save up sperm in an attempt to increase the numbers of sperm in their ejaculate. For the best chances to conceive, have intercourse two or three times per week and don't masturbate in between time!
It also helps if you know roughly when you ov each month. Definately have sex around that time so that the sperm is there ready for when the egg is released.
HTH & good luck
emmzy
We DTD every day (2 or 3 times if we're lucky;)) and I got my BFP today after coming off the pill in January.

Congraulations Iheartfreebies :T
I hardly dare say it as i can't quite believe it but i too have had my bfp if a tad faint today. Af was due today and she is normally there the min i wake up and go to the loo. I had a test that nicky gave me so used that. I am going to wait until the weekend and use a better one to be sure.
I can't let myself get excited yet though as the chance of it being an ectopic again are high and i have been having some discomfort to one side for the past few days. I will just have to wait and pray this one sticks and is growing in the right place this time. This is my signature!0
