The longer you can hold out leopardlady the better:T

Someone suggested to me to wait until a week after AF is due as sometime she can be a b00ger and be late, but I'm hoping you get your BFP because all your symptoms seem positive!

I feel great today, after yesterdays (TMI) flood I'm onto small pads so I'll only have another day or two then I can get back to bding:j

Well i know all about the waiting, but if these symptoms are not pg then they are AF on her way. I am just getting a little tired of running up and down the stairs needing to pee every 10 mins!!!
Oh well, good luck with AF leaving and getting on with the bding, that is what it is all about :)

    Baby dust to all :)

Its all sounding very positive for you leopardlady. I hope you get your bfp.

I'm off to the dr's this afty, one coz i've dne my back in again and 2 coz my af has still not showed up. Think i'm on cd62 and it's seriously driving me insane. I keep getting loads of af and pg symptoms and its really starting to stress me and my OH out now. Dont quite know what the dr will be able to tell me, i think its more reasurance that i need that there's nothing wrong with me:rolleyes:

On a slightly dfferent note i need your advice please. Should i leave work or not? My OH has just had his hrs increased permenantly and we always said that once or if that happened i would leave work and become a ft mum again. Childcare is difficult for us as my hrs change at work every week and i usually dont know what i'm working till the day before. Money wise we are fairly comfortable and we would be no worse off, but after chatting to an old mate of mine she thinks it would be lazy of me to leave work and i now feel awful about wanting it. Also my attendance has not been too great over the last 3months due to my ds being poorly with colds and the like and me and my back problems and i feel like i'm always leaving work in the lurch. I had to ring in sick again this morn with my back and to make matters worse i've got the runs too (sorry tmi), work now think i'm taking the pee which i'm not. The whole thing is getting to me. Sorry for my rant everyone but i really value your advice.

Hi nickynoo, i think if you and your OH agree that you should give up work, then what does it matter what your friend thinks. There would be nothing stopping you chosing to do something different, maybe study or volunteer. But i think that this kind of decision is only needed between you and your OH, so do it and enjoy life. Why should you stick it out just because others think you should? Life is too short, make the most of it!

Anyway, sorry for the rant back :) It just annoys me that others make you do things because that is how they feel.

Anyway, i hope the doc sorts you out and things get back to normal for you.

Baby dust to all, i am holding out from testing, although going to the loo every 20 mins is making it quite hard not to think about!

Thanks leopardlady, thats what my mum said. Lifes too short. I know i'd love being back at home all the time with my little un but i think a part of me would feel a little guilty too. Your right tho, i know if i stay there i wont ever get back to my studies.

  • Just thought I'd pop in and say hi.............I'm still lurking in the shadows:D

Leopard Lady it all sounds quite positive for you, fingers crossed for your BFP:D
NickyNoo- I'd say stuff what your mates think, you know whats right for you and your family, plus if you leave you won't feel guilty about having time off...even when it's legitimate. I have no idea how people can throw sickies, I'm eaten up with guilt having time off, even when I can barely get out of bed:rotfl:

A few weeks ago I started having what I think are pg symptoms did a test and was BFN but still no AF. I keep getting little cramps just below my stomach and above groin....not quite period pains but not quite anything else either:confused: Plus I've had sore boobs(now gone), light headedness and I'm constantly shattered, ok once I get going but if i stop I'm asleep!?!?! DH reckons its in my head

    Hi Catherine,
I am not sure what my body is doing, of if it just my head? I know i just really want to pg, so i am worried that i am making all the symptoms up!
Oh well. roll on wed and if AF arrives i might hibernate for a couple of days, but if not i will test. Right i really should try and do some work, but want a nap? work or nap? umm...... nap:)

nickynoo08 i am very lucky that i don't have to work. Some times it's hard but we manage. For what child care costs it wasn't worth me going back to work after i had my ds and my work was alot of double shifts, weekend and nights so i just wouldn't have quality time with my family at the end of the day they are what matter. I can go back part time when ds at school fingers crossed i will have another baby no 2 on it's way by then tho.

I know that my friends do not aprove and asume we are very well off when we are not. we do not spoil our ds with the latest toy all the time like they do as we don't have the money to instead we spoil him with love and attention. They are very jealous that i am a sahm as they work very hard to have it all.
But i don't want it all. If my ds is happy so am i

My friend had a dig at me the other day but i don't care my babies are so wanted and longed for why would i waste a moment and go back to work.

sorry rant over. i know it is a hard choice to make.
