Hi, little rant as I feel as if I am going slightly insane. I have been having AF type cramps for 3 or 4 days as well as being pretty darn tetchy (I nearly had a nervous breakdown this morning over running a bit late for work). Thing is I'm only on day 20 so it seems far too early for AF. I've had two cycles since coming off the pill the first was 32 days and the second 27 days so it def seems to early for that but also much too early to be Pg symptoms. Earlier today I felt like AF would start at any minute although feeing less crampy now. If AF does arrive in the next day or so I will be pretty peeved because surely an ultra short cycle would scarely leave time to ovulate and have 14 days luteal or whatever its called. So confused and to top it off had small amount CM yesterday. What does it all mean? Does anyone have some kind of female body manual to decipher this stuff?
Anyway, enough of my ranting. Good luck to those with metallic tastes and eveyone else x0 -
Morning ladies,
Rose I can't help I am afraid as I am still getting used to it all myself but I am sure one of the girls will be along to help soon.
Nunnygirl, so sorry AF has come for you
LeapordLady, it's sounding good for you this month, I will keep everything crossed for you. I fully admire you will power not to test early as I seem to be all too aware how awful the waiting game is.
Well I am now 3 days late, I have had a couple of aches and pains which suggest AF might creep upon me athough it could all be in my mind. I still have no pg symptoms either, although I am always tired and have backache which cou be AF, just don't want to get my hopes upI might do a test on sunday if AF still hasn't shown but to be honest I really don't "feel" like I am, well I am just rambling on now I guess it's nerves as I have no one else apart from OH I can talk to.
Good luck to all near AF time and uber sticky baby dust to all!!
DxDFW AND OS'ER IN TRAINING!!:D
Oh and bump due 3rd Dec 09' mummy to be for the first time :T0 -
Good morning all, I still haven't tested. OH told me he wants me to wait until AF is due!! Oh well, lots of sitting on hands:) (TMI our toilet has just blocked this am so suppose that is enough reason not to worry about testing!)
Hi Rose, i would say you may have to cope with random cycles for a while after coming off the pill, it can take a few months, even up to a year to totally settle down. If your AF does not appear, maybe test after cd27, you never know.

Thanks everyone, I am kinda happy that AF has turned up because of the BFNs and stuff and I know it's just cause I can't keep track of things on the calendar!
Leopardlady, I've really got my fingers crossed for you! This is sounding really positive!

Oh Leopardlady, I do hope so. Try to stay calm and agree with your OH to test when AF is due, but why are they so bossy at these times when we just want to get on with it? :rotfl: Here's hoping for you x
Daisychain, at times when I have been like that just BDing once more brings AF along predictably hours later so I wouldn't recommend it - or might depending on how much you want to get around to CD1 if a BFP isn't in the pipeline. Sorry if TMI!
And Rose, I agree with Leopardlady and fingers crossed for you x0 -
You were right ladies. I bought one of the mega expensive you can't bend it digital tests last night and there was nothing faint about it - pregnant!! 2-3 weeks.:D
Thank you for your reassurance yesterday and lots of baby dust to all you still trying.0 -
Not a lot to report here . . . . seems my cycle's haywire again so lost my cycle buddies I'm afraid. Currently on CD23and still with peak on CBFM, so BDing when we can (although work stress not helping this month . . . perhaps a little drink to night . . . . . in a lastt attempt to get DH to relax;)) My luteal phase always been the same so only 14 days till testing . . . . the dreaded 2WW seems worse when my cycle is longer!
Congrats Faye:T and Leopardlady stand away from the sticks!

Well no sign of AF and the mystery cramping seems to have stopped so I'm thinking maybe it was Ov pains. Or just something completely unrelated. If it was Ov pains that means a longish cycle this month which is a bit of a bore.
Good luck to daisy and LL, I admire your resolve in hanging on to test!
And congrats Faye that's great news :j0
