My cycle is usually around 28/30days (currently on cd40 maybe) so yes this is v v long for me. I'd thought of that but i've had no spotting or anything at all, but looking at the dates if i had had my af as usual i would now be on cd11 so ready to ov again so in a way that makes sense plus i've got what feels like my usual ov pains too.

In the odd times I have missed an AF I haven't had any spotting or anything either.
Usually for me AF starts with 3-4 days spotting, 2 days bleeding then 3-4 days spotting again so to miss all of that I knew something wasn't right. I done a test and was neg so just carried on until next AF which was ontime.
I spoke to my GP about it and they said not to worry about it unless it happens regularly.

But as always I would say if you are worried call your GP.

Has anyone used the HPT you can buy on ebay where you buy 10 for under £2 + P & P? The ones that are just a paper strip & come in a white packet with blue writing, are they any good & easy to use, I have always used the ones that cost a fortune from the chemists or supermarket.

I have just bought some, they claim that they can be used very early, are they reliable & how early is early?

I used those Natalie and they were perfectly accurate. I used about 5 because I didn't believe the +tive result but they were correct. Looking good! Fingers crossed for you.

I use these ones, the 10miu ones. I have had BFPs as early as 10dpo and 11 dpo (this was one day before and on the day AF due for me), but they were never very strong lines. After that I used a different test, once was a CD digital conception one and the other time one of the Asda ones (which was lots darker than the ebay one). But they work (for me anyway).

Congratulations Pookie!!!! :j At least you know you weren't loosing your mind with all the ss :rotfl: I hope I'll be joining you on the pregnancy thread soon!

Ok I need your help ladies. AF is due tomorrow (maybe Tuesday) but last night, sat, I knew that we were going out on a work's do that would involve a lot of drinking & I've been trying to avoid srinking totally for the past 3 months in case. Well yesterday was CD30(or 29) of 31 so we thought we would use some of our ebay tests just on the off chance it might show a BFP, as then I wouldn't drink. So I used one test & it came up with a very faint BFP within the 5 minutes! So we thought we better use another as we have had a dodgy test before (the line was the wrong colour & too thin the other month) so I did a 2nd & it came up with another very faint BFP that was exactly the same! The problem is I have had no symptoms what-so-ever, zero, zada & so absolutely don't feel pregnant! I got a positive on my ov tests the mon & tues before last on CD18 & 19.

So we went out last night & I didn't drink anything & it was a blooming free bar wasn't it lol, however I danced with my friend who swung me around his head, upside down etc & made me feel slightly sick! Anyway I digress, so this morning I thought I'd take another test as I was worried about being swung around by my stomach (stupid I know, seeing as I fell down an entire flight of stairs at 7 months pregnant & DD is fine!) So this morning I get another very faint BFP but it's fainter than yesterdays I'd say so now I'm worried this is a bad sign! I still have my fmu in a covered container :o from 8am, do you think if we bought a CB digital at 10am when the shops open & tried it it would be ok?? :o I really want to be able to enjoy today as my sister who lives in Greece is visiting & I don't want to spend the day obssessing.

    Help!

Hey honey, hope I'm not too late. You know what they say- a positive is a positive.

If it was me I wouldn't use a CB digital as I have been told that they are not very sensitive. If you're only getting a faint line on an eBay cheapie (which tend to be very sensitive) I doubt you would get a positive on a CB. First Response are very sensitive so that might be a better option.

    Fingers crossed for you x x x

Ah right, thanks GISI. I won't get a CB Digital then - don't want to waste £10 on a BFN! I've used First Response before so could get one of those from Boots on the way to my parents. We were in Boots yesterday & I noticed they are on BOGOF so it's a good time to buy them if anyone else is thinking about getting a shop test.

I know it's a bit gross :o but do you think the fmu in the pot will be dodgy by then & that I should just wait until tomorrow?

I really hope a positive is a positive! The wait is killing me! OH is convinced it's a BFP & if it was darker I would be jumping up & down screaming but I can't let myself get excited as it will make a BFN a million times harder.

Thank you for replying so quick!

Ah are you being tortured too?! It's really not fair!

I've still got my tests from yesterday & the very faint BFP's are still showing, although they are slightly fainter I would say, but they aren't disappearing totally. Are yours disappearing then?
