Ladies, what are the signs of ovulation? I don;t mean temperature and stuff like that but things I can spot fairly easily without special equipment!
I know you have to look for CM but what type and how much of it?
Are there signs like getting moody? Or is that after OV?
All help gratefully received as I suspect we need to BD over the next few days, although probably my cycle will be out because of the m/c. DFW Nerd Club member 023...DFD 9.2.2007 :heartpuls married 21 6 08 :A Angel babies' birth dates 3.10.08 * 4.3.11 * 11.11.11 * 17.3.12 * 2.7.12 :heart2: My live baby's birth date 22 7 09 :heart2: I'm due another baby at the end of July 2014! :j

You know what my workplace offers as a maternity 'package'? A big fat nothing! SMP and that's your lot, missus! :rotfl:
TBH, maternity leave feels today like something that will only ever happen to other people, so...
I think there will be a lot of people clinging to jobs they don't like so they can get their maternity pay as/when they need it. It must be a stressful situation - probably not conducive to getting a bfp either!
Jiblets, I hope your docs appt goes well on Fri!0 -

Er... In my case a glazed expression throughout the day and a mind on 'other things' than work IYSWIM...0 -

Ditto mine! 235 employees, 210 men, 25 women... you'd have thought they'd want to keep hold of the women and attract them back, but no! I work in the HR Dept but they know I'm TTC so I can't really start suggesting they look into an enhanced package now. Mind you, the rate they decide on anything, I'll probably have a five year old running around! :rolleyes:0 -

If you work in HR and are TTC you probably know the answer to this then (ie please can I pick your brains?) Can a firm legally discriminate against you if they know you are TTC? Someone in my office said she felt she was letting the boss down by getting pg - are all work babies meant to be 'happy suprises'?0 -

No, they can't, as it's sex discrimination (based on only women can have babies). They can't withhold training or other opportunities just because you are likely to leave / take a year off soon either.
This is what I was afraid of - when I was first pregnant, it was a complete surprise to everyone at work. Then obv I had the m/c and I now hate the fact they all know I'm TTC, or assume I'm likely to be soon, but they have already said (I think they were trying to reassure me without me asking the question) that they won't and can't withhold anything I would have gotten normally.
I'm an administrator, rather than an advisor, but I think I know where to find the official line on it... will go search - back in a min!
ETA: Found it - http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/Parents/Moneyandworkentitlements/WorkAndFamilies/Pregnancyandmaternityrights/DG_10026556
Info in the section headed IVF and a bit more further down
Also here: http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/Employment/DiscriminationAtWork/DG_10026665 Section which mentioned "direct discrimination".0 -

Morning all,
Just wanted to pop in and say hi!
CD20 for me today and temp was:
CD17 36.4, then dropped:
CD18 36.2, then back up
CD19 36.4, and today
CD20 36.4 again.
Had the odd twinge but no real sign of Ov. CM dried up yesterday and was EW and Watery for the days before so I may have missed it..
Also noticed that I felt like I had a cold last night, but feel fine / no sign of it today AND I'm got some massive bruises... and I never bruise! Strange!
Babydust and love to all...

Hello all
Nicole - earliest I ever had a BFP was approx 4 days before period due (so 10 days approx after ov)
Re symptoms of ov - I don't tend to feel moody as such just a bit more in the mood if you know what I mean - anyhow TMI
Re CM with me it's any water based as opposed to thick though I tend to get a blob of thick immediately following OV - this is all to yucky!
