Trying For a Baby II

Hi all. Went to the docs this morning (11days late) and she happily took my urine sample off me then told me she was going to send it off! I wasn't expecting that, so I'm going to have to ring on Monday for those results now. She did, however, tell me that if i've had negative tests at home then it is likely to be negative.

She also asked me if I''ve had any pains, which I hadn't - but I've actually had the odd pain over lunchtime now. My mind has just started whirring especially because a colleague I have confided in todl me that ectopic pregnancies show as negative tests. I shall be monitoring the pain situation and getting myself seen again straight away if they build and continue. So minor panic now. I guess I was due one. I've also had some vague rumblings in my back so I'm wondering if AF will arrive soon. I'm going away on monday to a nice place with a private hot tub, so suffice to say I will be VERY VERY cross if she arrives for that.

I dont post on here very often...im not sure why but i feel as tho im a bit supersticious i suppose....dont want to push my luck!!!

I posted a while ago as id had the marina coil removed. My periods have now returned to normal and im doing exactly what i said i wouldnt do....sympton spot!!!

Its only one week past when i think i might have ov( i was poas for a while but gave up as it was stressing me out) but my boobs seem to be growing at a fast rate.....ive been asking my oh as im not sure if its all in my mind. I dont really get sore/ swollen boobs around af so i dont think its that.....

I have two children already but the youngest in 14 so everything is a blur as to how i felt......

Guys I am in the middle of the dreaded 2 week wait....as usual its killing me!
Anyway a bit of Friday fun I just found this and it made me laugh no end!

Hope you have a nice time and flo doesn't spoil it for you.

Did your GP advise what the next step is if everything seems ok but AF just doesn't show?

Easier said than done I know but try not to worry.

She very annoyingly had no suggestions or concerns about AF. She basically said she will come and you'll just have to wait. No to be fair, she was lovely but that doesn't always help as much as it should. I definately am feeling hormone ridden now, so I doubt it'll be long.
Lots of little pains as well, which I'm trying desperately to assume are period pains coming and not something more scary. I don't normally get front pains, I get back ache, but it's an unusual cycle so it could easily be unusual pains too. I think.

Dont know why she sent a urine sample off, mabe she should have sent a blood sample..

After all my feelings of PG, today i dont feel PG, 11DPO and dont think this is the month. of course i have tested and BFN...

Jiblets - good luck for your test results.

I'm seeing the doc again on Monday - got a call from him, saying he couldn't remember if I'd said I was pg or not (Whaa?) and that he'd sent the scan request to the wrong place anyway, so I have to go in again and see him! Honestly, it was bad enough to have to go to see him, not having actually done a test but having been so sure I was pg before all the bleeding and the clots and unpleasantness started, but to then find out (after a whole week had gone past) that he'd not even listened to what I was saying properly, and obviously hadn't made proper notes... Makes me really angry. At least he did take the trouble to call me himself though.

I'm due to OV in the next few days - wondering if we should TTC this month, or have a rest. I feel up to going for it, but have no idea if my insides are ok or not! I do feel ok, and don't seem to have had any further problems, but I'll ask the doc when I see him...

This is me too.....i go between thinking i must be pregnant and then feeling nothing at all....my boobs are sore and i cant stop needing the loo too.

Can i just ask you all a question? How do you all cope....I can understand when just trying and seeing what happens....but if you know that you've ov that month for sure and bd at the correct time....thats the bit i find hard to get my head round x

I know what you mean Angela, especially when people who aren't even trying and are maybe even on the pill and still get pregnant! And they don't even "do it" at the "right" time!:mad:

Don't know that I cope as such, I just keep on plodding on to be honest. Another month, another AF. Almost normal to me now. Keep seeing pg women aswell and I am so jealous.:o

AnnieM - gotta love the docs hey :rolleyes: Good luck for Monday though.
