Thanks Homeaway I might give that site a go. FF still saying I haven't ov'd yet but I think looking at temps it was saturday so hoping tomorrow temp will confirm that. I'm not sure if the medication I'm on has an effect with it all as well. It's all very complicated. The tumour I have presses on my pituitary gland which made me produce excess prolactin (produced naturally in pregnancy, hence my cycle stopping because it thought my body was pregnant) so the tablets I now take reduce prolactin and I'm sure they must have some effect with everything. Lots of people do get pregnant within a few months of taking the medication so hoping that will include me too soon!
Reetyre as I said above FF is confusing me. I'm sure I ov'd on saturday but still waiting for confirmation. Every other cycle I'm between days 18-20 but one month it said I'd ov'd on day 8! I have changed my settings from advanced to research now and I've found that has helped so try that.

Hi Becs,
Have a look at the site there is loads of info on there. Are you checking your cm as well, as that is a good indicator? Not sure how accurate this is but there is some info about sleeping in a really dark room as the light interferes with our cycles? Hope you get your positive soon:)0 -
Thanks Homeaway,
My flipping temp stayed the same this morning and didn't go up as expected. Previous cycles I get a massive drop in temp then big rise for ov and same this month just the following 2 temps have been a slight increase then stayed the same this morning. As a consequence it's saying I've not ovulated but I'm sticking with own intuition that I have. CM is not good with me really as rarely detect anything. I am sleeping in a dark room so can't use that excuse. I tried ov strips that I got off ebay and didn't find them very good. I got a really faint line on the day FF said I'd ov'd but strips said it was still negative as not dark enough line. Not feeling positive at all this month, we bd'd alot before I think I ov'd (tmi!) but just feel that come the weekend or early next week AF will arrive.

Anyone here that hashad a m/c? How long did it take for you to get your next period?0

Hi sparklygirl1,
My m/c started on 3rd Aug (with the majority on 4/5th and very last traces of bleeding on 17th) and my next period started on 5th Sept (and next on 3rd Oct). Mine was a "missed m/c" though - pregnancy stopped at 6wks but first I knew of it was when the bleeding started at 9+4 - don't know if that makes any difference.0 -
Thanks for the info Rosie Bud
Another question, pls can someone tell me where I should get pregnancy tests from? When I first started, I got a pack of ten dipstick type from eBay plus used a ClearBlue digital (£11.99!!) after getting two vague positive dip ones. Can't quite remember using nine, but I appear to only have one left now so need more... Thanks0 -

I can recommend using accessdiagnostics. Their pg tests are the pee in a pot and dip types.

Hi Sparklygirl,
I had a missed miscarriage and had to have a D&C, which happened on the 16th June. My next period (much lighter than normal) was 5 weeks later (I stopped bleeding after the operation on about the 24th June)...as I'd had an operation rather than a "natural" m/c it may have taken a bit longer for my hormones to sort themselves out.

Hello Sparkly Girl (and nice to hear from you elle gee x)
I had a missed miscarriage and then had a D&C on 12th August and my next period came on 17th September so about right for me (I have a 5 week cycle).
I think if you didn't have a D&C it may take a bit longer for your hormones to settle but as other posters show it varies from person to person.
Hugs to you x0 -
Hi everyone,
I am a newbie on this thread, I first started TTC really only this past month. Actually, my DH agreed about 6 weeks ago but we were too late in the month to really start trying, so we have had one cycle only of TTC. I am in my 2WW and it is killing me! I went to Superdrug yesterday and bought pg and ov tests. Although I think I am a few days too early to do the pg test, I did one this morning anyway because I couldn’t control myself. I got an extremely faint line. Does anybody know how good the Superdrug tests are and are there any really good tests for when you are a still a bit early? I don’t know my cycle very well, but I will start trying to take more notice from next month.
Also, I HATE my job. It has 6 months maternity pay though. I really want to quit because it makes me miserable. If I knew I would be TTC for 12 months or more I think I would quit, but If I knew I would get pg in the next month or 2 it would give me strength to stay with it so I can exploit the company for maternity pay (don’t worry, it is a finance company they deserve to get exploited). I am sitting here at work writing this and to be honest couldn’t care less if anyone saw it!
I don’t want to literally be p1ssing money away on tests :rotfl: , so let me know what you think the best (most accurate) ones are!
