I'm now 5 days late and still no sign of AF. :j Still no sign of BFP yet either though. I was sure it would arrive this morning after me not having a drink all weekend. I wasn't going to tell OH that I'm late as I didn't want to jinx it but I think he was a bit suspicious last night when I didn't even have a glass of wine.
Going to have to tell him today as we are away on a Sun £9.50 holidays from tomorrow till Friday and it'll be so obvious if I don't have a drink. Not that I'm a raging alkie
but I do partake in a few beverages when on holidays.

We're in the same position scotishchick. I'm on 6 days late, and after doing a test straight away when I was late, I then managed to leave it until yesterday to do another test. The theory was that if I'm pregnant day 5 should definately be late enough to show up on a test. Well it didn't. I didn't drink last night just in case, but I've convinced myself that I'm not pregnant now. I know there are cases where a pg test will never be positive for some pregnancies, but what are the chances of that being me eh?Am not witty enough to put something cool and informative here:o0

Good luck Jiblets. When I was expecting DD (7 years ago) it took ages to show a bfp and even then it was so faint I could hardly see it, even the doctor wasn't convinced with her test either so I had to have a blood test to confirm it. Hopefully the same thing is happening this time. Fingers crossed.:j little fire cracker born 5th November 2012 :j0

If you want to know if you're ov'ing, I would get a batch of sticks to test with so you know for def you are (try access diagnostics - pm me if you want a discount code)
Thanks AnnieM, but already got some...and another code!
skintchick - if any comfort to you and others following mc, my SIL had 3,possibly 4 mc never getting beyond 9 weeks, over 3 years, if I remember. Anyway after the last one they BD within 3 weeks and fell pregnant straight away. She had a bleed at around 7 weeks, was sure she was having another mc. Had a scan next day as happened over weekend, person doing scan told SIL, who was already in tears, that there was one healthy looking baby which wasn't going any where! I now have a gorgeous 4 year old niece.
Roll on 2 years from birth of niece. SIL, concious of time it took to conceive niece, comes off pill expecting it to take time...my nephew was born 9 months later.
Anyway, now on my own TTC journey with AF now returning since coming off depo - my question for all you experts, should I take the first morning I saw some brown first thing as CD1, or next day when was more for all day (sorry if TMI)?
Thanks and good luck to you all, congrats to recent BFP'ers:heart2:Baby boy madbird arrived 15/06/11 by emergency csection weighing 9lb 13oz:eek: love him so much xx:heart2:0 -
The general consensus I think is that your first morning waking up with flow is CD1. So coming on on Thursday lunch time makes Friday CD1. As long as you're consistent with how you do it each month it'll work out the same anyway.
PS This thread is so far past TMI I think we're well past worrying about it anymore...Am not witty enough to put something cool and informative here:o0 -
Oh well, nothing exciting to report here. We got some bad news on Friday, that the house we were trying to rent was taken off the market - landlords circumstances chaged... Haven't cried that much for ages! AF showed up yesterday morning (making my cycle 26 days instead of usual 28, so I think I have to take as new normal...) incredibly heavy and painful in the afternoon!!!! Spend all day at home, and in the evening couldn't do anything, even move (sat on the sofa and OH had to put pillow under my head, as I couldn't even use my belly muscles to move!!!!!) Oh well, another month is here - cycle 15. Started on Agnus Castus again, so will see how that goes.Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0

I haven't posted for a little while as last month I was so convinced I was pregnant. I had all the symptoms, AF was late and everything, however AF came in all her glory  and I was bitterly dissapointed. I couldn't bear to read about ttc stuff any more, so avoided this part of the forum (Sorry girls:o ).
This month was our 12th month of trying and we barely bd'd at all as I knew I would probably be dissapointed again. (TMI Alert!) Although I did notice EWCM for the first time so Bd'd using "Pre-Seed", but thought no more of it.
Last night, I had no sign of AF so so did a test and what did I get....
...Only a BFP!!!!:j didn't quite believe it and neither did my hubby, so went to Boots this morning to get a Clearblue digital test and what did I get...
Another BFP!!! So I am now certain I am pregnant! Will be making a doctors appointment on monday to get it confirmed. Dh and I have decided not to tell anyone until we see the doctor and then will only tell immediate family the good news.
I was starting to think it would never happen, but it did! So to all you ladies out there trying, don't give up hope :cheesy: .Value of prizes 2010 - 2017: £8374 Wins 2022: Magic set

"Pre Seed" (I spelt it incorrectly in other post) is a lubricant you can buy that aids sperm to get where they need to be.
And EWCM is the stuff you get down below when you ovulate - your natural juices!
