I think it's about 10 days from conception to implantation, that's why an implantation bleed can be confused with AF sometimes.

TBH I haven't had any symptoms really. AF was due today so just thought I'd test on the off-chance as I've got loads from ebay.

    Good luck!

How soon could you experience symptoms after conception? how many days is it from conception to implantation?

    thanks

Personally I had no symptoms with my first pg at all. The second one I felt really really sick 24/7 as soon as I got the bfp.
I think that if you weren't ttc a woman probably wouldn't get any symptoms at all. I think we all look for symptoms every month because we are trying....IYKWIM...I think we find symptoms that probably aren't really there or not as noticeable as we think they are.

Well, you lot do.....I'm not a symptom spotter as we all know :rotfl:

As for a timescale from conception to implantation.....I've read its anywhere from 6-12 days.

Ok, my temp dropped a bit, but I haven't been able to sleep since about 3.30 this morning, so I don't think my temp today means much. A bit more red watery stuff first thing in the morning and then brown... Don't know what to make of all this. Test was negative, of course.

Stormed out of the house at 6:30 without breakfast, as I was so upset and annoyed with OH (asked him to hang the laundry last night and couple other small jobs and this morning found everything as I left before going to bed. We have letting agent coming to check the house tomorrow and it is a complete mess. He went to sleep for an hour when got back from work yesterday as he was 'tired'. While I was cleaning the kitchen and making dinner. Of course he is tired, he doesn't go to sleep before 1am these days!!!!). If he can't pull his finger to do anything, he can get someone else to clean the house, I already work longer hours than him! - sorry, rant over....

  • Still no sign of AF but BFN on test this morning. I'm meeting my pregnant mate for lucnh today so i hope AF doesn't start before then as I don't think I'll be able to handle seeing her if it does.

Oh congrats pinkpig thats fantastic news! Did you do anything differently this month than normal that the rest of us can try?! :o

No sick feeling for me this morning, and we didn't BD last night as we were SO tired so now I think we may have missed the window. The fertilityfriend site says I should have ovulated yesterday and I know we did it enough before ov but I have a hard time with the fact that sperm can live ages inside me - eurgh!

Good luck to others, lets have a BD weekend!! :p:p

Well TBH last month when I got a BFN we had bd'd about 4 times over the 'crucial' few days, but this time we only did it once as I was ill and had my tooth out around the same time. So really it happened when we weren't thinking about it or charting or symptom spotting or anything.

I stayed laying down in bed afterwards if that may have helped?

Went to the docs today and got an appointment with the midwife in 6 weeks time - that's aaaaaaages away!! I asked the doc if there was an increased chance of problems as I had been on depo for 5 years, but she said no, and that once you're pregnant you should have a 'normal' pregnancy as if you'd never been on it.

Got to get in touch with my consultant though as I have Crohn's too, so he can tell me if there's anything I need to do.

Good luck all - sending lots of sticky glue xx

Good to know the depo won't cause problems down the line.

Been to see the doc today - got a scan next week.

I must be the only one on here today pleased to see AF, well some "brown" anyway - I've come off Depo, so hopefully this is first sign things are getting back to normal. My last depo was in March, so as said pleased that at least something happening!

I have been taking Agnus Castus (as recommended on here!) Do you think I should stop after 14 days in case I'm OV'ing now?

OH has mixed reactions....he is used to me being "period free" for last 4 years.....if you see what I mean!

If you want to know if you're ov'ing, I would get a batch of sticks to test with so you know for def you are (try access diagnostics - pm me if you want a discount code)
