    Afternoon everyone,
    Welcome to all the newcomers.
How's everyone getting on? Hugs to everyne that needs them. I'm on cd16 and i'm totally ravenous, have been the last 2 days. Still feel like i'm constantly due on and really bloated. hopefully things will settle down soon as i've only been off the pill for 4 weeks now. First time round i messed up my pill (forgot to take them lots:o) and was advised by nurse to stop taking them to give my body chance to sort itself out (i was bleeding every other day). She told me to start taking it again the first day of my next period, but it never showed up. Never had a bleed or spotted for 12 weeks then found out i was pg. I really hope this doesnt happen this time, i'll be constantly doing tests just in case.
All this talk of folic acid has reminded me to start taking mine again. I got some last week but i'm terrible at remembering to take tablets - hence ds1!

Just to balance the argument I take Pregnacare with no problem, I just take one with water after my evening meal, usually forget though if I'm not eating at home!

Well, I gave in and did a test last night but it was bfn. I'm on a business trip with work from tomorrow until Monday so I'm going to wait until then and if still no AF then I will test again. Already on day 35 so longest cycle ever, not sure what is going on:confused:

I picked up folic acid from Superdrug on buy one get one free (224 tablets for £2.49 - with my money saving hat on!), but I noticed they do their own brand pregnancy care supplements - I might be tempted to give those a go if nobody has had trouble with them?

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for us all x

On the preganacare, i feel fine now, i ate a little and that made it all right. I am taking mine in the morning after a bowl of porridge, as i have to take other things every morning, so no real chance of me forgetting. I will continue with them for a while.

Hugs to all and lots of baby dust to everyone too. I am keeping everything crossed for you Jennynoo.

Ah, that's good to know. So I will try them taking half and half and see if that works better. Otherwise, I will have some to offer you free of charge!

Jennyjoo - also keeping my fingers crossed for you, that is a long cycle! I average 27 days if I'm lucky...
  • Nikabella that is exactly the same as me with my DD. I was told she would be 5ibs and she was 7lb 5 lol. I even had to have extra scans to check she was groing at 32 weeks and it was great because I got to see her again and it was so much clearer. They asked me where I was hiding her because my bump was tiny and I wore the same jeans all the way through. I am a size 8. xx

    Hi everyone,

It's been so quiet on her lately, I was sneaking a look at the pregnancy thread longing to join them (my god they can chat!) but have now posted on the ttc 12 months/not straightforward post! Is everyone busy bd'ing? I'm on cd22 now so in the dreaded 2ww. I ov'd last friday according to cbfm which was great as coincided with being snowed in on thursday and friday! Great timing or what! Anyway hope everyone is ok.
  • Hi Becs,, I know what you mean about the pregnancy thread, they can talk, i have lurked there for while, in the hope i will join them soon.
I may well join the ttc 12mth/not straightforward soon, but gonna hold out on here for a little while longer. I hope that this is the month for you, sounds hopeful with the timing, i have everything crossed for you.

I am only on cd9 and going away for 3 nights now, so back in time to start with the serious bding :)

    Hi ladies!!

Let me tell you, this is the very first AND last time I have been so happy to see my AF!!!

I got my implant out in January and for personal reasons, DH and I said we were going to wait 1 cycle to start TTC. So of course my January cycle was incredibly long - 38 days! AF has finally shown up and now we can officially start TTC as soon as it's finished!! Yay! I've desperately looking for it for over a week now, as its arrival signals the beginning of our journey FINALLY.

(and privately, DH was fed up with using condoms, so he's happy too, hehehe :D)

Good luck to all! I'm excited to finally be there!!

To weigh in on the Pregnacare comments - I've been taking them since December with no probs. I take 1 in the morning with my brekkie (usually bowl of oats or cereal).
