    Hi Girls,

I thought I would pop on and say hi.

We aren't TTC yet but are getting ready for it. We still have some debt to pay off which is really worrying me but if we wait until we are sorted money wise I will be in my 50s! I just about to turn 29.

We have decided to start to TTC in May when we are on holiday. I came off the pill before Christmas and have just had my first real AF. And we both started to take folic acid and vitamin c and zinc on the 1st of February. I'm also trying to eat better and cut down on take aways etc.

I'm quite worried about the whole TTC journey but my mum tells me not to worry as she fell pregnant first time with me and my brother. And my brother only has to look at a girl to get her pregnant! I just don't think it will be that easy for us as I have quite a stressful job.

Wishing you all lots of luck.

  • Hi there and welcome B2B

To give yourself something productive to do in the meantime you could start charting your temps to get an idea of when ovulation occurs in your cycle. This would give you the best chance of getting a bfp in your first month of trying. This is my first month of ttc (already have a 10yr old dd eeeekkk!!) and we just decided to try and see what happens but now I wish I had charted cos I can't really determine when I will ovulate.

Just a thought, understand if you don't want to get too clinical.
    Coming soon............
Brand new baby first showing in November!

    Hi pookie,

I would like to start charting but I can be a bit of a control freak and don't want to take the fun out of it just yet. I have made a deal with my husband and he said I start to chart after six months to TTC and seeing what happens.
  • Hopefully we will both have our bfp's well before then!!!
Looking forward to chatting to you over next few months.

Where are my cycle buddies hiding ? (you can come out of the bedroom occassionally you know!!!!) lol.

In fact where is anyone, board has gone really quiet last few days.

  • I'm here, trying not to be obsessed this month. I O'd the middle of last week but haven't been symptom spotting this week. :j I haven't got any IC to test during the week and we're quite skint this month so will have to wait till the end of next week before I even think about testing. Good luck everyone.

  • Hi Aless02, B2B-2008 and kencokenco (hope I havent missed anyone) and welcome :)

I havent been on much lately so just catching up... again!!

I am on CD9 today. My OPK's have arrived from ebay and it says in there to start testing from CD17 as my average cycle is 34 days. Grr that seems so long!! Lol!! We are gonna make extra effort BD-ing this month so I might get a couple of practice runs in before CD17 just incase my cycle changes again!! Fingers crossed!!

Hope everyone is well and enjoying the weekend xxx

  • Hi - I'd like to join too :-)
This is our first month of TTC baby num 2. My DS is 13 months old.
I'm day 16 of cycle, and 3DPO, so am in the 2ww now. I don't know why but am strangely optimistic that we will get a BFP soon. With my son we didn't chart or anytihing, so I'm really not sure how long it would have taken us to concieve if we had
Will be testing with First Response on day 27, so that's Tuesday 24th :j

Hi Pookie & all especially cycle buddies. I'm on CD11 now which is lucky cos DH is in a fowl mood to day. Woke up happy - tea in bed for valentines, but then it's all changed! He reckons hes not gonna eat, doesn't want to do anything, and we just sat in town with a coffe not talking. Its all I could do not to cry. Said about 5 words all morning. He's now taken himself upstairs and Im mad downstairs. At least its not time to BD. Happy Valentines:mad:
