Thankyou to all of you for making me feel so welcome.
I have no idea of when I may ovulate at the moment DUE TO having absent periods for 7yrs. And now at age 31 was odd until I was diagnosed with pcos. On a good note I started taking Agnus castus last month and low and behold on 2/2/09 I had my first AF in 7yrs. I am soooo happy.
I am hoping I get another cycle this month and then I will be able to calculate the length of my cycle to get my ovulating timesw etc.
Only worry for me is that I might not actually be ovulating. I really do hope so.
As it is all starting to get me down now. Im feeling so fed up today.:mad:0 -
Hi Helen,
Fingers crossed for you! I'm only 9dpo but AF due in 4 days going by my longest cycle. No symptoms though so don't think I'll get s BFP this month. I hsve now also started posting on the TTC 12 months/not straightforward thread as well as things are complicated and I don't think a BFP is going to come easily.

I have a bag load of ov test strips that I'm not using anymore. I bought them off ebay but have moved on to clearblue monitor now. If you would like them pm me your address and i'll post them to you. That was my main reason for buying them as no af for over a year then when it started again I wanted to be sure I was ov'ing.0 -

Hello to all the newbies :hello:
Jennynoo, I'd got confused that you were still in the running, I really hope you aren't going to be my cycle buddy any more - only of course because I want you to have a BFP! I can't believe you are posting all the way from the USA lol. The suspense is killing me, it really sounds like you could be about to get your BFP.
Helen Congratulations :j that most definetely sounds like a BFP. I have heard some people say that they don't think CB are actually very accurate early on so maybe avoid that brand? I have everything crossed for you.
I am on CD10 today so I'm not sure if I still have my cycle buddies? Fattybooboo looks like you can join us as cycle buddies if you would like & cedrickerry you are pretty close too?
I have a bit of a TMI question, my AF started a day early last cycle (30 days instead of 31) & was horrendously heavy, worse than usual, for about 12 hours & then much lighter than usual for about 4 days. After about day 5 the red bleeding stopped & I got some black/brown stringy stuff (old blood I presume) for 3 days & then on CD8 it changed again to brown sludge (sorry:o ) with fresh red blood also again. So on CD10 I'm still having this discharge/bleeding! My AF is always 100% gone by CD7 at the latest & I don't ever usually get this brown/black stuff - although, I think I might remember getting this when I was about 17 after some AF's. So what the heck is going on????!!! Does anyone else have AF's like this?

Hi, can somone help me please? Tried posting elsewhere but to no avail and I'm getting confused now
I have been displaying some PG symptoms since Thursday (Mega sore and heavy bbs, feeling really sick, tired, grouchy, bloated, aching down below)
AF is not due for about another week I think (last one started on 19th Jan), this is my first month of looking at exact cycle dates
Is it too early to take a test? Don't want to go to doctors until I have but don't want to look an idiot walking in there and him telling me I am pg IYSWIM!
Thanks in advance everyone

Hi Nunnygirl,
I totally know where you are coming from - cycles can be very confusing.
I normally purchase a test from a pharmacy and do it on the day my af is due if it hasn't arrived. I believe that your af would be due today if you have a 28 day cycle (although i am just getting to grips with ov testing and cycles myself) so if you have a regular cycle of 28 days you could test tomorrow. You can purchase tests which show a response a few days before your period which you might like to consider - but I prefer to use the cheaper regular tests. Sorry to hear you are feeling ill - but lets hope its for a nice reason - a happy result!

thanks JHA, I think it's usually a little longer than a 28day, possibly a 30-31day, desperately trying to rack my brains as to the AF before last!:o
Will get a test on Wednesday, when I get paid, unless curiosity gets the better of me before then!
Thanks again

Thanks Becs will do that.
Feeling slightly better today, as I am on half term, I work in a pre-school so we are off for a wk.
Sometimes im not sure if it helps with the job I do, especially when I see all these young mums coming into pre-school with 3 and 4 kids. most of them are aged between 18 - 25 and do nothing but moan at the kids as they are bringing them in AND when they collect them, NOT SAYING ALL MUMS this age though so please dont think im referring to anyone here.
Just where I work you get a different insight to it that's all.
One particular person has 6 kids and is only 24, she has children ranging from 7yrs old down to 4 months old and is now expecting her 7th child. I find it sooo amazing considering she does nothing but moan to us about the kids and how hard she is finding it to cloth them. It just seems so unfair to me.
Hope I haven't offended anyone with this post, if so do apolagise.
Im just telling you how it is where I work, and this I suppose also adds to the stress of it all. seeing everyone else around me getting pregnant so quickly.
Well that's my moan done for the day. hope every one is ok and

Hiya Nikabella,
My last af was exactly like that and again like you i've not had one like that since i was 15/16ish. I think in my case it may be due to me coming off the pill recently. My freind is a midwife and said it sounded like old blood and nothing to worry about.
Fingers crossed for you helen, sound very god for you.£387.39/£196.46
