Hello Everyone
I have some good news! The pre-period spotting I had earlier in the week stopped yesterday and today I started getting a creamy discharge which is nothing like I normally get when AF should have been starting today. So I sent OH out to Tesco through the snow to buy a pregnancy test and guess what, I got a BFP!!! I am in serious shock, I just can't take it in! I guess it goes to show that its not how often you BD but making sure that you do it on the right day!
I know it's really early days and so much could go wrong but I'm so excited.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed that some of my cycle buddies might have good news too.

Hi Helen,
Yes temp will rise after ov, you usually get a drop day before or day of ov then sharp rise. Then it will continue to rise until AF or continue to rise if you have a succesful conception.
I definatley did ovulate then, as my temp dropped to 35.4 the day I got my positive opk then went to 36 the day after, then yesterday 36.2 then this morning 36.3! All temps taken at same time every morning (7.30am) before getting out of bed so I can saftley say they are accurate readings. Oooooh I soooo hope it goes up more and stays up!!love my little man he is amazing :j0 -
cd15 today
I am either CD17 today so sort of cycle buddy with you helen, however I haven't ov'd yet (well not had my temp rise) although previous ov has been about CD17 or CD18.
I should be due AF a week on Tues 16th or Wed 17th witha cycle of 28 or 29 days usually. However am working from home as having double glazing fitted and I am soo stressed about the mess currently (bit of a clean freak) so hope stressing doesn't put ov back at all (although had a wee bit of EWCM yesterday so looks good).
Congrats on the BFP vicstar hope we can join you later this month.....0 -
I haven't had a dip prior to ov before, but recent cycles it has started to rise gradually and then once AF came it fell gradually- not sure what that means...0
