Hi everyone, this is my first time posting on this forum. OH and I have been TTC for almost 2 years. I'm on CD 23/27 and have had very sore breasts for about 2 days, have had lower back pain today and thought I felt a bit dizzy this morning (although I have been known to symptom spot!!). Does anyone think that this could be the month for us? OH half wont talk about it until AF due date has been and gone as I think I'm pg every month but this month I really do think I feel a lot different. Fingers crossed!0

Welcome TinyPablo, i have my fingers crossed for you, i hope that this month will be it for many of us, but after 2 yrs i really do hope it is yours.
You may find that having a look on the ttc 12mths+ thread you may find more people in a similar situation, although i hope that you can move onto the pregnancy thread before the end of the month

Tigerlilley I really hope it is my month this month but I don't want to get my hopes up as I was really upset last time. I lost weight when I was first pregnant with my DD too as I couldn't eat a lot of things & after I had her I went from 9st3 to 7st9 & I'm 5ft10! I'm back up to about 8st9, people have suggested it might stop me from getting pregnant but no matter what I eat I can't put any more weight back on.
Scottishchick I haven't used those monitors so don't know the answer but I'm really sorry to hear about your gran, my thoughts are with you. I expect it could easily have messed up your cycle.
TinyPablo, welcome to the thread, hopefully we can bring you some luck! I was going to suggest the same as Leopardlady about the 12m+ thread, not that you aren't wlcome here!
Well I'm on CD28/31 & thought I would try one of the 10miu tests this morning as I couldn't take the wait (I know, I know, I'm terrible!) It's one of those ones that aren't in a plastic sheath, just the little cardboard stick & you dip it in a cup. Well it came up with the control line in purple, nice & thick & then there seems to be this very thin, very faint blue line about where the result line should be. Now I'm positive I'm not pregnant & definetely don't want to get my hopes up so I'm thinking this is an evaporation line, right?? It shouldn't be a different colour to the control line so it can't be a BFP?? Argh, shouldn't have done the test as now I'm just torturing myself with imagining this line!!! Silly girl - get a grip!

Hi Nickabella, My fingers are firmly crossed for you
lets hope that it is a feint bfp, although i know how you feel about testing early and not being sure, but try again in a couple of days and try not to worry about it, if it is to be this month then it will be:)

Hi Nikabella, I got a blue line once with an ov test - cardboard stick type. I just assumed it was a faulty test as the lines are supposed to be pink. Also that was the first time I had used one of those tests so I think I may have gone above the mark. If the line is supposed to be pink I would just not count the test you did. Maybe you should do another!

I'm going to try really hard to hold out another 2 days before testing, in reality I will probably end up doing another one tomorrow morning! It's so not MSE of me!
I kept telling my OH that as it's the wrong colour I was sure it wasn't a positive but bless him he's holding out all this hope. I hope he doesn't end up very disappointed.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you Nikabella (and TinyPablo too).
I don't think it's going to be my month this time as I'm getting proper spotting now and can feel that AF is going to start early. Still, hopefully it can be one of my cycle buddies who get a BFP instead:D
I have just bought a copy of Toni Weschler's Taking Charge of Your Fertility book as I've heard good things about it. Hopefully I'll pick up some tips to help with a BFP next month:T When I started TTC I really though it would be so easy especially as I'd gone to such efforts before then not to get pregnant! How naive I was:rolleyes:

Nikabella, its looking very positive for you I must say! :j Keep us all updated!
Scottish chick, Im in same boat as you, CD12, didn't ov till cd20 last month, but at just cd9 I got 2 lines on an opk..not a positive though as they were not the same darkness BUT last month I wasn't getting a 2nd line atall..even at cd17!! So..abit different this month, but like you I have suffered the misery of a loss in the family and I guess it can do funny things to your cycle. I think that my late ov last month was probably down to me being so distraught alot of the time. Now, Im still upset obviously, but things have calmed down a hell of alot so Im thinking that maybe this earlier ov thing is my cycle returning to normal. Im saying all this but hey, I havn't OV yet, just cos I have them 2 lines on an opk doesn't mean it won't take another week to happen! Im just hoping. I did another opk yesterday, abit earlier in the day to before..2 lines again, but not positive. I will do another around 6ish tonight. My temperature is dipping down, this happens before ov doesn't it,then it shoots up again?love my little man he is amazing :j0 -
OK,since my last post above (is anyone here today?) Ive got my positive opk :T
and a big blob of ewcm (sorry:o ) soooooooooo OV is on the cards within 36hours. Im soooooo pleased as I'll be at cd13/14 and NOT cd20 like last month, so hopefully I'll get a longer luteal phase this time.
Im gonna pounce on OH later :rotfl:
Hope all u ladies r ok xxxxxxxlove my little man he is amazing :j0 -
I'm here, but it's very quiet on here at the moment isn't it.
Helen, I'm really pleased you got your +ve OPK, I have my fingers crossed that this will give you a long enough luteal phase. Good luck with the pouncing lol.
Vicstar sorry to hear you think AF is on her way, though until she arrives you're not out of the running! Think I might get TCOYF. I know what you mean about thinking the whole TTC malarky would be easy, realising I didn't need to worry so much about avoiding getting pregnant for the last 3 months whilst off the pill
Thanks to everyone who'd keeping their fingers crossed for me, I'm not feeling very positive but I will see what the next test says. I still feel sick today, so thats 3 days now, & it's making it really hard to eat, I'm hoping this isn't some nasty tummy bug.
