Hi All,
I don't post on here much just pop in now and again to see how you are all doing. Congrats to all those with BFP this month and baby dust to the rest of us!!
I have posted in the past to complain that the OH doesn't want to BD to order, yet we have really low sex drives so hardly do it anyway!:o We've had a little chat and I ended up getting upset and asked would he at least think about how I feel being 37. I feel his objection to BDing is some deep seated commitment to our relationshiip but he wouldn't admit it.
Well, we actually BDed last night, day 12, so progress this month!! OH asked me this morning if I felt pregnant, I said no, so we should do it again! He agreed :T
So maybe I'll see you all here in a couple of weeks;)
BTW.... whats Kegels?!?!£2019 in 2019 #44 - 864.06/20190 -
Hi!! Just been catching up on the thread again. I want a cycle buddy too!! I just checked mymonthlycycles and I am on CD24 today.
Me and HB have deffo decided to make more effort BDing next month if we arnt PG this time round. It didnt help this month as he was ill around the time. Also I am deffo gonna order up the OPK's too from ebay.
I dont think I have said this to you all yet, I have changed to mostly drinking decaf tea. It was on offer for a £1 for PG tips decaf so I thought Id try it. At first I wasnt impressed but I have got used to it and and drinking it most of the time now. I am a bit of a tea guzzler so I was a bit wary of the caffine. Also I have the odd cup of that Tetley Green Tea with lemon, I like that too.
Hope everyone is having a nice sunday xxxBaby Toby born 17th Nov 09 :j0 -

Hi Butterfly,
Do you mean your pelvic floor? Kegel exercises are when you pull in your V muscles to tighten up below. Try clenching the muscles in for 5 seconds and repeat 10 times and then slowly build up the time you hold the muscles in for.

Thanks for that! How are they connected to TTC?!:o Are they something I should be doing?£2019 in 2019 #44 - 864.06/20190 -
Fattybooboo, Im wary of too much caffine too. When I believed I was pg last cycle I switched to half caff coffee and havn't noticed the difference, but if I don't have some caffine atall I get awful withdrawal headaches.love my little man he is amazing :j0

_shel, I had a slight metalic taste in my mouth, along with alot of other symptoms, I was almost 100% certain I was pg then was hit with AF..which was a totally wierd abnormal AF and only lasted 1 day!! Whats all that about!!?! Im hoping I don't get any symptoms this cycle but if I do,I won't be positive about them untill I miss AF.
Sorry about your loss. Im keeping my fingers crossed for a BFP for youxxxxxlove my little man he is amazing :j0 -
hi you could try splitting the pill in half and taking half in the morning with breakfast and half later on in the day with another meal and see if that works better for you.0

Hi Kegels are used by some women to see if there is any fertile cm there, they do them on the way to the loo, so in that sense they do have some use for when you are trying to get pregnant. It is mentioned in toni weschlers book.0

Are clearblues claims true in that their tests can detect that early? Most of the others say on the day AF is due.
I'm feeling pretty crap now because I built myself up for a positive and nowt
In answer to the first bit I have quoted......
I personally take the claims of ALL pg test manufacturers with a pinch of salt. I think it depends on the woman and how quickly her hormone levels rise when pg.
There have been women on both TTC threads who have taken sometimes weeks to get a BFP after AF doesn't show up because their hormone levels don't rise enough for pg tests to pick them up.
In answer to the second bit...
This is why I won't test until at least a few days late. Even when I am late I tell myself its just a long cycle. Its not worth the heartbreak.:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -
