    Hi BF.

    Congratulations! :j

Agree with jenny that its normal for docs not to re-test you if you tell them you are pg. They take your word for it.

Best wishes for the coming months

  • Hey again BF, when I went to docs after testing BFP with DD they didn't do any tests and just took my word for it and referred me to the midwife.

Hey Jenny and Nikabella, I really have no idea what to look for in reference to cm so haven't a clue if I have ov'd or not. Have got a theremometer though and am totally going to try and start charting. Can anyone shed light on how to work out what cm is meaning as mine always seems to be thick and creamy and never egg-whitey, sorry TMI lol.

    Morning ladies!
I was just listening to the news and heard about the woman in california who has given birth to 8 babies! The hospital said she was expecting 7 and the eighth was a surprise!!!!!

I thought I'd check back in with you as I haven't posted for a while. I am now on CD18/28 so trying to avoid all thought of babies and pregnancy or I tend to get a bit obsessed and then disappointed when AF turns up:rolleyes: (as you can see given that the first thing I've done after getting to work this morning is catch up on this thread I'm not doing very well!).

I'm not holding out much hope this month as we only managed to BD once around the right time. OH is finding the whole TTC rather stressful which means he sometimes has trouble finishing the job if you know what I mean:o . I've tried not telling him when we're at the critical time of the month but he can work it out for himself and I think puts himself under such pressure to perform that he then can't. I'm not really sure what to do except keep trying to reassure him that it really doesn't matter rather than put him under any more pressure (all the while fuming inside!)... if anyone has any tips on this please let me know (we've been TTC since last September and to be honest he getting worse the longer it takes).

    Baby dust to all!

Hi Vicstar, i understand how you are feeling exactly. If you see in early posts i have this problem, although recently OH seems to have relaxed a little and has performed better ;)

Well, i think that you are doing the right thing by not giving him dates or requests. This month i decided that on the days i wanted to bd i got dressed up into something nice in the evenings and cooked something for OH (i work from home, so maybe easier for me). He then felt relaxed and spoilt which made bding more fun. It worked really well, although will have to wait and see if it really worked:)

I am on cd 22/29-31? So lets see, i don't want to get my hopes up, but am struggling this month as it all feels very positive.

Oh well wishing all of you very sticky babydust :)

As long as you are not feeling too squeamish take a look at this: http://www.beautifulcervix.com/photos-of-cervix/ Not good to view if you are at work!!

Personally I never noticed much before my mc but now I notice it more. Just after AF there isn't much cm then it suddenly gets more but it's creamy and not that stretchy. Then I think I get a clear stretchy stuff and I think this is when I ovulate. I notice most of this just from wiping but sometimes have a quick check when I'm in the shower.
