Sorry for multiple posting. The ov test looks negative again. When it says 'leave in for at least 10 seconds' do you leave for exactly 10 seconds or longer? And if longer, how long?

Aww Jenny bless, have a dodgy hug ---> :grouphug:
I always just left it in for 10 seconds then too it out but i've only done two of them, so I might have been doing them wrong.
I'm going to do an ov test this month when I start getting my cramps and see if it comes up pos. I drink a lot though and forget to not drink before taking it.:heart: Think happy & you'll be happy

Hi all, can I ask a daft question?
Has anybody felt ill taking Pregnacare? I have been taking folic acid for a while successfully (didn't make me feel like pants) but now I've been advised to take Pregnacare and I swear to God after a few hours my midriff feels really tight and uncomfortable. It lasts for a few hours and really makes me feel ill.
So I stopped for a couple of days - pain went. Started again and it is back.
Am I just imagining it, or is it something anybody else has found? Hope it isn't just me!0 -

Yes. I didn't get on with that one. I think part of the problem are that they are huge and hard to swallow. Have you tried a smaller pregnancy multivitamin, which you might be able to tolerate better. Otherwise, you could try taking them just before bed, and hopefully sleep through the side effects.0 -
Hi Madmac, I remember previous posters saying that they suffered from headaches on pregnacare.Am not witty enough to put something cool and informative here:o0

Good Morning everyone.
I'm new to this board and would like to know your opinion on my situation.
I had a miscarrige last August, no other kids and we've been trying again since. I've been using the ovulation tests which has gone ok. I'm due AF Monday but I've been thinking I'm pregnant since last Tuesday when my coffee tasted foul, still does, I have a metallic taste all the time. Also nausea and hightened sence of smell, tiredness and small aches in my back etc all the same as last time, but I've tested using Clearblue who 'claim' you can test 4 days before today and yesterday, BFN. Got other stuff too but all could be signs of AF, but I would normally have bad cramps by now.
Do you think my mind is playing tricks on me? I've been reading some of the other posts and see others have had false symptoms. Not seen anything with the metallic taste though, which for me is the biggest giveaway as I've never experienced that before except last time.
Are clearblues claims true in that their tests can detect that early? Most of the others say on the day AF is due.
I'm feeling pretty crap now because I built myself up for a positive and nowt, even felt so nausea's last week I skiped out of a training course! Hope I've not built myself up for a fall, if I have lesson to be learned maybe. Ty0 -
Hi Shel :hello:
After the way I felt this month (sickness, really sore boobs, tiredness etc,) I do think our minds play tricks on usI was absolutely convinced I was pregnant, I was even a day late with my AF but no joy. If I were you i'd wait and see if your AF arrives tomorrow and if it not then test again first thing Tuesday morning. Then I would test every morning til you either come on or get a BFP
I'm going away til Friday now ladies so I don't think i'll be around much. Anybody who is coming up to the end of the 2ww, my fingers are crossed for you
Stick baby dust to you all :heart: Think happy & you'll be happy

Thank all for such a quick response. I know you are supposed to take them with a main meal, but I seem to swallow them OK but suffer those effects hours later! So you mention a smaller pill, what would you recommend? Kind of new to trying anything extra above folic acid, but we are getting towards that magic year of trying and still nothing.
So all suggestions that won't make me feel so ill are welcomed!0
