Congratulations lisabell!!!
Hello to vicstar & aless02. Nice to have some new people joining (now I'm not the newbie - lol).
My AF is due on wednesday & I already foolishly did a test 5 days early which was a BFN but now I'm really struggling to hold out till at least wednesday to test again. I'm sure I'm not going to be pregnant anyway so I don't know why I'm letting myself get so expectant! Argh. I'm so impatient!
My close friend had a beautiful DD on Dec 23rd & I have spent yesterday & today with them & her DS which has just made me a million times more broody!!
Baby dust to everyone.

I think AF is about to show up tonight but I'm pleased because that means we can get started bd-ing
There's no chance of me being pg this month as I was ill and we didn't BD at the "right" time this month
Here's to next month and I hope everyone gets the results they want soon
Oh and welcome to the new faces tooI was a lurker on this thread for a while too but am excited to posting because it means we are now "officially" ttc

For all you that test yourselves 2-3 times a month (:p), where do you buy your pregnancy tests cheaply? Do you get them 'in bulk'? This is a MSE board after all!top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne

Hi, yes a lot of us get them from ebay, I got 20 for £3 odd not so long ago, I posted a link further back on this thread if that helps. I think most people then only use more expensive ones if there is a positive on the cheap ones, to back it up. HTH!!Baby Toby born 17th Nov 09 :j0 -
Don't tell me that fattybooboo!! Wish I'd realised how cheap you can get them for before I spent £10 on a twin pack of FR. We have already used one which was a BFN & AF is due tomorrow so I am desperately holding out so that I don't waste the other one!
My OH was pestering me to test againg this morning lol. I've told him it's tomorrwo at the very earliest. AF has been like clockwork for the past 3 months so I'm she doesn't show tomorrow!Beautiful DD born Jan 2007

I didn't know that bit about thrush. I've had it loads in the past, put a damper on bedroom activity but since I came off the pill I haven't had it so I'm hoping it was just connected to the pill.
Welcome to Vicstar and Aless02. Vicstar - I am useless at getting up in the morning - I usually set my alarm 30mins before I have to get upso when I tried to do temping it was completely useless because I kept sleeping through my alarm. Been noticing the changes in CM more recently so next month I'm going to try and keep more of an eye on that.

So best thing to probably do it buy a bunch of cheap (non-branded) ones off eBay plus 1 or 2 Name Brand (like ClearBlue, FirstResponse, etc.) to take only if you get a positive? I was thinking about getting those cheapie ones but was concerned they might not provided the most accurate results...sounds like a good idea!! Thanks.
I'm still on a weird AF/breakthrough bleeding point right now since I JUST got my implant removed, so not even started 'trying' officially yet - once that stops then I'm sure the bedroom will become very busy indeed!top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne
