I have only ever had thrush twice in my life and wasn't pregnant during either of those times. Both times I was pg I didn't have thrush.:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0

Congratulations Lisabell, I plan to be on the pregnancy thread as soon as possible!
Tigerlilly I don't think Thrush is a symptom of pregnancy, more that you are more likely to get it during pregnancy if you are prone to it - which I take it you are not if you have never had it before. However your other symptoms are interesting so fingers crossed for you!Mum to DD born Oct 2009

Hello All,
Congratulations to all the BFP over christmas, hope to be joining you soon.
I'm back at work today and its going to be a busy month, but popped in to say hi. I'm now on day 16 of what may be a shorter cycle this month (I got a +opk yesterday so now doing lots of bding and watch my temp).

Thanks Jennynoo and Shelly. I just meant that after googling it it did seem to say on some pregnancy sites that you were more prone to get thrush when pregnant something like 10 times more on most sites and as I had never had it before and then combined with everything else I am feeling that it might mean I am pg. I didn't think that it was a symptom of being pg just that you were more likely to get it, and I think I read somewhere that women were more likely to get it for the first time ever when pg and in a second or subsequent pregnancy. Anyway, fingers crossed for the 9th when hopefully nasty af doesn't turn up

Hello
I have been reading this thread for months as we are TTC but thought I would join in this year in the hope that it brings us luck;)
I stopped taking the pill in January 2008 although only got serious about TTC in August so we probably weren't even BDing on the rights days before then:o I am now on day 24 of a 28 day cycle but am not holding out much hope this month as we were so busy over Christmas we didn't get much time for BDing - still, there's always room for hope until AF actually arrives!
My new years' resolution is to have more sex:eek: (on the right days!) and I may also try charting my temperature although I am so disorganised I'm not sure I'd do very well - anyone have any tips?

Hi Vic and welcome.
You can use fertilty friend to track your temp, you will need to take your temp first thing in the morning so keep the thermometer by your bed (ideally you want a thermometer with a light so you can check the result without waking OH or one that saves your last temp so you can check it later).

Hello!
Been following this thread a tiny bit in the past, but now that hubby & I are pretty much officially TTC, I thought I'd make a proper post.
I've just gotten my Implanon removed (on Friday), so we're pretty much starting from scratch on determining cycles/OV/AF-time etc. I'm using FertilityFriend at the moment to help do some sort of tracking, but for right now we're taking this casually and just going to see what happens!
Good luck to all those out there trying for their own new babies!!top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne
