Well Im on the 2ww and just checked mymonthlycycles to see where I am, I am right in the middle of the 2ww so I should know by New Year anyway. We only BD about twice at what I think was the right time so not holding out too much hope this time.

Hope everyone is well, we have 3 tins of sweets at the work at the moment and Im trying hard not to eat uncontrollably!!

Hi Shelley and AnnieM! Well regarding my DD we tried for two years and then the doctors did some tests and found that we were both OK so we just had to take more notice of ov'ing etc.. I bought the zita west book and found that really helpful and then after two more years of trying we got pg. I'm sure it just takes longer for some to get pg so don't ever give up. I can't really add anything to that although as heartbreaking as it was every month we got there in the end.
I just hope now that we know more what we are doing it doesn't take as long because I am 28 now and would like to et there before I am 30.

Thanks Fattybooboo, don;t worry if you only managed to BD once at the right time, we only did it once in the right few days and miraculously hit the spot so it can happen! Good luck hun!

Mind if I join in?
I'm blessed with two boys, 6 and 4, but I've lost two babies this year and am absolutely desperate to hold another one in my arms. It's all I can think about. I'm having counselling which should be starting in a couple of weeks time; till then it's taking all the willpower I've got to keep myself out of Mothercare.
Anyway, a Merry Christmas to you all. We're not going to start trying again until February (husband's request) which makes it even harder, I think if I was trying again now (lost little one a fortnight ago) then at least I'd feel as if something good was coming out of all of this.
I know I can't replace the two little angels I've lost but nothing else seems to be able to touch the emptiness that I feel inside.
And I know, I am very very grateful for the two beautiful children I already have and I'm sure I will be blessed again soon; it's just nice to be able to post on here.

Hi everyone,

What a mad weekend hello to all the newbies and to hypno nu congratulations!!!!
Have had a busy week last week and havent stopped all weekend!! Have been on the look out for my positive ov test according to your days it was meant to happen on tuesday but finally got a faint positive yesterday and then a full blown positive today but have only b/d on friday and then today so dont think this month will be our month but never mind!! means i get to enjoy more choccies in the meant time now on the 2 ww!!

I am an auntie now not so little girl 8lbs 14oz She is lovley.

Anyway as for me ive been very ill with a virus and chest infection i even had to ring nhs direct who sent me to 2 different hospitals to have lots of tests ECG's, bloods and i even needed oxygen the machine went off and docs came running very scary! but i am on the mend now. Told them we were ttc but they weren't really bothered said to early to tell by a water sample but surly they could have told me through the blood they took i am due af on......... xmas day! so i will either enjoy the day or be a little sad. Won't be testing until i am late.

Well I need a quick rant this morning as AF finally arrived late yesterday (just as I was starting to think about testing). DH is as disappointed as me and I keep telling him its ok and we'll get there eventually - although part of me wants to yell that if he would just get past his bding issue's around OV time we'd get there a lot quick (can't actually say this at it would only make it worse).

In a generally bad mood today as up with DD four times last night while DH slept through.:mad:

Last day at work today so will be running around like a headless chicken trying to clear my desk before xmas.

Elastigirl, sorry to hear you have been ill, sounds really bad but glad to hear that even though you were ill you were still thinking about TTC!

Ruth, really sorry to hear that you weren't successful this time, you had us all in suspense for so long as well. Last day at work for me today as well Got loads to do but I think people who have given me work to do in the last week before xmas shouldn't really expect it to get done!

Being BDing more than usual this month... Had decided just to do it whenever I felt the need as I don't know when I will ovulate but that's been more than usual for some reason!
