Congratulations Hypno! So happy for you :)

Had my final scan yesterday to check everything after the mc and all was fine, no need for the vacuum. Bit weird now as we are back to trying but I have no way of knowing when I will ovulate or when AF will be due - never done any temping or anything. Currently just BDing when feeling the urge!

Me too to the public BB checking!

I'm so excited now, and scared and nervous! OH is still in shock because i don't think deep down either of us had thought it would happen first month even if i was quite hopeful....the weirdest part is that when we BD'd in around the right time this month, he turned to me and said "there you go, now you're pregnant".....
    and he was right....weird!!

my god our stories are so similar! we had only been trying for one month and started around the time i was fertile! i never thought in a million years it would happen so quick! still dont feel pregnant though :(

I don;'t feel pregnant either! I don't think i have any real symptoms at all. And becuase of that i feel like i'm trying to find symptoms to prove to myself that i am really pregnant. Like yesterday I wasn't really hungry all day? Was that because I'm pregnant or because I just wasn't hungry??? And then when i got home I really fancied something spicy....now is that a craving or did i just fancy something spicy??

I'm symptom spotting more now than i was before my BFP! And the other thing that's throwing me completely is that I feel like I'm getting very mild period pains and discomfort in my belly, so now i'm wodnering and panicking about that too....God I'm gonna be a nightmare for the next 9 months!
  • Congrats HypnoNu!!! Fab news to spur us on through Christmas :)

I have nothing to report, just looking forward to next week, and trying to fit in some bding! Not going to be easy with both sets of parents around! At least me should have a separate house to stay in! (long story)

Have a great christmas if i don't pop back in the mean time. Keep BDing everyone and may 2009 be a massive year for BFP!

Sparkly baby dust to all :)

  • Wow I am symptom spotting crazy @ 8 dpo:
    • AF cramps still (not due for about 4 days)
    • Sore BBs
    • Bit of heartburn
    • Been sleeping badly past few nights and waking at ~2am to pee
    • Clear dreams, one about being pg with a big bump that was too heavy!
    • Have to pee lots, more than usual
    • Very uncomfortable lower back
    • Dizzy (although this isn't unusal for me)
    • Brain fog, completely useless at the moment (having trouble thinking how things are spelled as I type this and had terrible trouble picking what to wear this morning-not loving the outcome either!)
    • Watery eyes
    • Bit snuffly but the whole office seems to have a cold/flu so might be the startings of the lurgy
    • Moody with DH
    • Hungry
    • Bit bloated now too
Did cheapie test this morning (ok, 3 cheapies :o ) and were all BFN, I know I know, too early......rubbish!

Oh, I am back at work today and it seems like something is going round for Christmas here! Couple other people are not feeling well and I would rather stay in bed today!

You know what I love this month - I will not know when I ov or if I ov! (and just checked Fertility Friends, who reminded me I am CD9 - had no clue! we better get BDing....) Besides, I'll be away for the whole 2ww malarky, so hopefully I will be busy going around and meeting people to think if I am pg....

It is our godson's Christening the following Sunday (after Christmas), so I know I will be sad that we still no closer to having our own. But hey - at least I'll have a godson to spoil!

Have to say I've kind of given up this month. We BD'd a few times at the right time, but didn't really follow the SMEP to the letter, and I'm not even bothering to hope this month. I have yet another cold, and feel generally grotty. I'm not symptom spotting cos I had so many symptoms last month and then wasn't pg... I just want a break for Christmas, and then we'll see what the new year brings.

So, basically, I'm on a 2ww embargo - no POAS, no symptom spotting... All together now "No more symptom spotting! No more symptom spotting! Nah nah nah nah HEY! Nah nah nah nah HEY!":rotfl:

Welcome to the thread. It's good to hear positive stories that it can still happen even if it does take a while!

Mind if I ask if you what your story is regarding the 4 years waiting your DD to come along? I'm on my 13th ttc cycle, and considering seeking advice in the New Year.

Sparkly Christmas Baby Dust to you too!
