    Welcome to the board Glamazon.

I've only told my sisters-in-law who I'm close to and our best friends. I would never tell my parents or DH parents we're ttc although DH parents are already commenting on a grandson (they only got a granddaughter 10 months ago from us).

My brother and his wife who have been ttc for 5 years were brought a "making babies" book by his MIL last year as she didn't know they were having problems.

I'm now on day 35 of a I don't know how many days cycle. Still no AF and temp hasn't dropped yet - was considering holding out till xmas to test as it would make a great present for DH although a BFN would be a depressing way to spend xmas.

Thanks Shelly - love the comment about the right hole, bet that went down well.

I just want to put the feelers out and say something like 'we would like to start a family sometime soon'. Like I said we've been together for 9 years (not married yet but who needs a piece of paper?!) and we've just bought a house so it's kind of a natural progression anyway - my Dad will be cool about it (when I got with OH at 16 and got engaged at 17 he's response was 'Just because you've got engaged doesn't mean you are going to married (true) and even if you do you can always get divorced!) My mum will think I'm too young (although she had me at 23!) it's just the MIL and FIL - it will go down either really really well or like ten tons of brick!

Not giving anyone dates and plans or anything - as I def don't want the in laws asking me whether we are doing lots of Bding!

Where does the time go?

As if anyone could think that was an appropriate thing to give someone, whether they knoew they were trying or not!

I'm not really bothered about people knowing we are trying, as I've found it means they stop asking if/when we intend to have kids - as time goes on, maybe they realise it might be a sore point.

I'm confused, not sure what my body is doing at all....I had some very light spotting on Monday which i took to mean that i would start on Tuesday bang on schedule for my 26 day cycle, but yesterday brought nothing more than a vague pinky wipe after i'd been to the loo( sorry if TMI) and this morning nothing?
Wish i knew was going on down there!

If your late you could always test and find out (not that I'm not still avoiding testing).

HypnoNu, if you are late, you could test...

It will be easy for me with testing this cycle - AF "should" arrive either the day we are flying back to UK from in-laws or the day after. So no early testing this cycle - not willing to get caught at in-laws!!!! (And not buying any tests while out there) Also - no temping or OV tests this month either, so have no idea when things are going to happen!!!!

I guess i could test but I just don't think I'm pregnant, i feel like i'm due on, I just think that it's my body sorting itself out after the pill, if nothing's happened by the end of today then i'll get one and do it tomorrow morning but I really don't feel pregnant...

Isn't the first "symptom" most women notice a missed period? I don't know, never been pg, but I think you are not necessarily going to feel pregnant straight away... Some have a hunch, others have no clue!

  • Other than a missed period I have no symptoms when expected ds - didn't actually find out I was pg until 8 weeks gone as wasn't ttc. With dd I was sick from day one.

So no symptoms doesn't equal no pg.

I guess i just don't want to get my hopes up because I'm convinced AF is just on her way abd behaving strangely...I've already been to the loo twice this morning and nothing at all....I guess in the back of my mind the whole time has been the niggling thought of "maybe the light spotting is implantation bleed"...I'll keep you posted girls!
