  • Afternoon,

Booze-wise haven't really had much recently, but that is more to do with budgetting and not having any spare cash to get any! Have treated us to a M&S meal deal thingy and there was a bottle of cava this week so that will be cracked open tonight  (hoping DH might feel a bit more randy after some of that-although historically he will more than likely fall asleep on the sofa in front of the telebox!)

He proclaimed last night that he is fine with doing the deed when I am not on or near OV but when I am there he seems to get this block and has great trouble "sealing the deal" as it were (muchos chaffing and frustration-actually gave up the night before last :( ). I try not to pressure him but he pressures himself I think, rubbish! Finger crossed that he will be ok later on tonight :o
Had a temp shift of 0.2 F this morning, but not sure if the 0.2 degree thing is related to celcius rather than farenheit? Either way I think I OV'd yesterday or today so might be ok still wrt the BD that has been acheived.....ooh must go someone needs me to do something at work.....back later

    Hello everyone, nearly weekend :j

Last month I remember getting this weird pain on the lower right side of my stomach, I've just checked my dates and it would have been CD14 (I only remember the date because it was my OH's birthday) Well i've been having that pain again, had it quite a bit yesterday and i've got it now. I'm CD14 today so do you think it could be ovulation pains? I didn't really think much of it last month, well actually I thought maybe my appendix was going to blow up  :rotfl: But I can't remember whether I had it over a couple of days or just that one day. This is the first month doing my temps and I haven't been all that consistent with the times :o So FF hasn't detected ov based on my temps but my CM has been watery for a good few days now. Still not egg white though.

I've got to speak to my manager at work today and decide whether I can go back next week or not. I've been off for about 8 weeks with a bad back, I've tried to go back before just for a few hours a day but the most i've managed is 2 hours and then i've been in complete agony for days afterwards :o Really fed up with it all to be honest ((sigh))

Anyway sorry for rambling...baby dust to all :D
 Think happy & you'll be happy

Hi Hayley, I didn't realise you were off work with a bad back. You have probably already tried everything but just incase, have you tried leaning back while you are sitting? It is supposed to put less pressure on your spine than leaning forward or sitting up straight. There were some MRI studies I read about it recently.

Goodness, that must be so frustrating, in more ways than one! We need some kind of sex psychologist on here. Does anyone have any ideas?

  • It is totally rubbish. Most fo the time he used to be like the duracell bunny and wanted it all the time but since starting TTC he's been weird. He really wants a baby so it's not that angle, just performance anxiety maybe? Ahhhhh! (I even suggested a partial BJ to get him started and I never ever do those  but even that wouldn't help he said- can you tell I was desperate :o )-hello end of tether.....

    Hi Lizziebell,

I know how you feel, DH seems to develop some kind of performance anxiety whenever it comes to BDing but the moment I've told him I've ov so its too late to do anything about it he's fine again. As much as DH wants to know where we are on my cycle I've taken to not telling him as its the only way we're likely to BD (without me feeling like I've pressured him in to it).

The thing is DH is as keen for the next baby as I am so its not that he's being pressured. He was like this when we were ttc DD as well.

Unfortunatly I have no suggestions on how to help, but at least you know when your wide awake after another failed bding wondering how you'll ever get pg your not alone (I've spent a few evenings there myself).

Hey Lizziebell, my OH seems to have the same problem, very keen for a baby but anxiety kicks in when the time is right for me. Oh well i too have a bottle of cava from M&S with the meal deal and am hoping to have that tonight, but maybe i should wait until AF has left at least that way i can possibly enjoy the fruits ;)

Baby dust to all, have a good weekend :)

Flipping heck, for such simple creatures it amazes me that this is a common thing- I mean most of the time if we are not partaking then they DIY but as soon as there is a reason it must all be too much to handle

Anyhoo, I think I may well be a bit more liberal with the whole OV timing, but as he now knows that there will be increased requests for the deed around that time he'll twig onto it if I ask for more than every other night, bah, foiled at every attempt! I keep saying that it is only a temp thing and he can have a rest in a few days time- doesn help though. Will try again later (cava.....) and let you know how it goes (even if you don't want to know :D )

Did you also get a big chicken? That's what tempted me to get the deal, I found a big bird, 1.980kg (and also had to get it as was born in 1980, if you hadn't guessed that from username!) & also got the choc souffles, which are just choc mousse I think :D

Ruth - when did you get a positive on your OPK? You probably already know this, but in theory, af should appear 14 days after you ov (assuming your luteal phase is 14 days).
