I once got 5 negative pregnancy tests taken over a few weeks of a missed period, she'll be 6 next year.:D

I'd had the same thing in a prev pregnancy and I recognised all the signs so in the end I went to my GP and had a blood test, which confirmed pregnancy.

Well still no sign of AF properly, just spotting, so on CD33 of usual 28-29 day cycle!
I am going to try and hold out to test at the weekend if no sign still, i have a couple of access diagnostics left and a first response in a drawer hiding. I will let you all know, only odd symptoms are stomach acting strange, difficult to describe, part of it is increased gas and acid reflux (which i usually have under control) and a bit of tiredness and constantly hungry, spotty face, but could all just be AF messing me around? Oh well,

    Baby dust to all :)

Well, I can join you with spotty face, a lot of tiredness, strangely acting stomach... No heartburn, but I am actually feeling rather full (usually starving by this time, as I have my breakfast at about 6:30:eek:). Although, I wouldn't mind a nice slice of cake....

I scraped together some money and got a Clearblue test which came back neg :o( Oh well at least I know one way or another, still no sign of period though! Guess my cycle is getting into its own routine after being on the pill for ages so will continue to chart it. Looking on the bright side, at least I can enjoy some drinks and brie over Xmas - had visions of my OH drinking the entire litle of Baileys I bought all to himself :rotfl:

Mwa...I know it's probably not helpful but when I was preg with ds1. I came home from work after feeling like I was going to pass out and first thing I did was take a test just to see if I was, it came out negative. About a week after period still no show. Decided to take another one ...it came out psoitive...this has also happend to my sis. So doesn't mean u r not...just not showing up yet. I would just keep tight and then in a few days if still no show take another test. Good luck & fingers crossed.

  • Afternoon ladies, I am now in a good mood as have found that I actually have stretchy CM today (CD15) and is the first time I have seen it down there :D not too much of it but definitely stretchy, hooray (does happy dance) :j fingers crossed that there will be an ov event this month unlike last month which was rubbish!
I am still trying the opk tests at 6 pm after not drinking since ~2pm or 3 pm and so far neg on that front, but not used them before so dunno if they work for me (trying the SMEP however the BD planning for that isn't really going to plan, didn't manage every other day for a while then had 2 days on the trot and goes without saying that I will be jumping his bones later on due to todays discovery down below ;)

AF is due Xmas week so could go either way there! I always seem to have AF over Xmas, even when on the pill! Then we are off to NY on 2nd Jan, yey!!!! (not very MSE as will be filling up a credit card, 0% of course, with lots of lovely things for cheaper than here, although not so much due to crappy exchange rate just now, bah!)
  • ok ladies is there any possibility in letting me in on the lingo - i'm confused reading some posts lol - my stupidity sorry :(

anyhoo no BD last night hubby would rather have sat and played on his laptop - little disappointed, but never mind i'll maybe pounce on him later - he likes that hehe!

re the preg tests - i used the tests from poundland - u used to get 3 little sticks in them but now it's only 2, but still for a £1? I noticed last week when i went to the doc they were using the same ones - same box too :P

    so they must be alright?

  • There is a list of the abbreviations somewhere.....I don't know where exactly maybe nearer the start of the thread?
You will get more for your money from an online purchase of pg tests. I get mine off Ebay shop called Fertility Plan and they always get send pretty much straight away and I get them the next day (also do ov tests and all sorts) and got the 10 miu ones and these gave me faint + when I was 11dpo and pg so seemed to work ok (did a few of them then got a fancy Clearblue with conception thingy once I was sure it would give a positive-well pretty sure! They are so expensive, got a box of 2 and have the 2nd one saved for next time)
