Lots of questions...
Is o2 email ok with outlook/outlook express?
Has anyone experience of using o2 with a VPN?
I'm in the Outer Hebrides - is Maidenhead the closest server I can use to test my speed? If so the results suck.
Thanks,
R0 -

1: I use Outlook Express on my kids pc and Microsoft Entourage on my Mac. They both pick up my o2 (and other) emails fine
2: I use a VPN every day to 'dial in' to work. It works fine for me
3: I used Speedtest.net to run a test from
a: Faroes 116ms Ping
b: Dublin 130ms Ping
c: London 63s Ping
When you get to Speedtest.net the map can be moved (the box telling you to select a server is probably blocking servers nearer to you so move the map to make them available for you)Waddle you do eh?0 -
Is it 30 days? I thought it was 7. I thought they ended the 30 day thing...Maybe I got it wrong.
Actually we're both wrong just checked the website and its currently 50 days

What?!!!!! That's just so not fair!!!!!
I joined up in Aug cos I wanted to be within that 30 day thing. I was told they'll never do more than 30 day again and that offer was back in August!!! If I knew that I would have done it now!!!!
My service with them has been good overall but I'd still like that additional 20 days!! I asked them about buying myself out of the contract if I don't like them and they said, "well if you do that, you'll be stuck with us for twelve months" So they dont do the whole buying out of contract business, just cancelling the contract for £50 but that means no MAC code so having no internet for some while.
I hope they are good during my twelve months with them.0 -
