I'd like to sign up too please :)
I am going to aim for the full ten items a day but I might sell some of those as lots to cheat a bit! I am after decluttering as much as making money, sick of all the junk I have! However, I am due a baby any day so will try and list a lot until I go in and catch up afterwards!
Alhough, I still need to downsize my 'my little pony' collection (vintage) a bit as I really shouldn't have as many as I do LOL. Just been being lazy there too.
Just signed up to greenmetropolis, never used that site before. Looks good. So first 15 items already listed on there.
However, is the ten items ten things listed or ten things actually gone out of your house?

Welcome to our challenge hayley_jayne and good luck with the baby. Is this your first? I shall put your name on the first page for 10 a day but if you disappear we'll know why!

The challenge is to list items - the majority of us on here are debt busting one way or another but rather than focus on a financial target, I decided to do a volume target.

    Hiya :)

Well I'm sick of eBay already :) Still got a load of stuff to get on which I just couldn't manage last night, it was too much! Trying to get my little target done as fast as possible. Hoping to get at least halfway!

Things are going quite slowly it seems, the vinyls are doing ok, but only certain ones of course. No more book sales on Amazon, but already the Wedgwood vultures are out for their 99p bargains - don't mind if they go cheap because they're just sucking up space, but I hope we get more! :)

Yep I understand where you are petrafyde - it really is difficult isn't it to stay motivated? I find it better not to look at my current listings as I get downhearted and to concentrate on listing new ones. It's always a nice surprise when things sell!!

Have just booked the holiday so have now got to get a move on to make the money - £1800

Will pop in later to see how people are coping.

And I've sold a book - yippee! Very little profit but there is a little space cleared on the shelf.

Still haven't started my listing for today but there is nothing of interest on TV tonight so I shall get it done then.

    Keep going everybody.

  • Hi all, I have just done my 5 on ebay, another 2 cd's on amazon, and posted 3 parcels for recently won auctions in the postbox.
Then checked my paypal account - £79 in it already. Feeling very virtuous - not a normal state for me! lol.
Im now going to go round the house with a box to put tomorrows hapless victims (clutter) in!
OH's cooking a stroganof - feeling spoilt and virtuous!!

    Hi arthurdick,

Actually made my sale on Amazon. It was a Dickens novel.

Anything with a literary theme great for selling at the moment as the universities have just gone back. I do have quite a few though that I am going to put on eBay - ones that would make the money but don't look such a bargain on Amazon - large thick books.

I am rubbish at BIN prices - I either underestimate or overestimate a price so much rather put a minimum down and hope for the best. Think we should also have a book listing week :rotfl:

Hurray ! Excellent results. Can't wait until my Paypal account is looking a little healthier.

    Well done!
