    Morning!

Have prepared about 20 listings this morning but have had to post a query on the eBay board about using Auctiva and Turbolister together.

Children not happy to just play so have to wait until OH can look after them before getting on with some more. Looking forward to everything selling and being able to see the carpet again.

cc I'm definitely female and my OH is definitely rubbish at eBay. He doesn't even have an account and has given no sign of wanting to learn how to sell stuff!

    Catch up later.

I am aiming to list at least 10 items this weekend!

I find the most satisfying part of the ebaying malarky is taking bagloads of parcels to the post office and bidding them goodbye. Am I the only one who enjoy getting rid of clutter as much as they like making money from it? :o:D

I've been using Auctiva for about a year now and whilst I love the ability to schedule listings free of charge I actually find it the most UN user friendly site ever.

Half the time the site is down or the photos won't upload, it rarely works if using Internet Explorer at all. Like Floxxie I had asked whether it was possible to use both Auctiva and Turbolister as TL would be useful for all the off line stuff when Auctiva doesn't work, but no one was able to reassure me i could definitely use both.

I'm sitting here listing on Auctiva at this very moment.

    Hi
Well i have 29 more things ready to photo and list. Im gradually getting very organised.
Anyone got advice about packaging items? do you all buy jiffy bags in bulk or what do you do? i dont want to spend too much on packaging but want it to be professional.
    thanks

Hi there - would love to join you, but realistically I could only list about 10 items per week, not per day as I am a full time worker and have a little baby, and I did a job lot of ebay the other week and got myself into a right pickle....all for 22 pound. Would have been 50 pound but a buyer who won bids on most of my stuff hasn't paid and doesnt look likely too either...grrrr!!
Can I ask - what random things sell that you think wouldn't have sold - do you sell anything that is junk (but another man's treasure?) Thanks!

    mrscmr,
i buy my bags for packing on ebay in bulk, well, about 30 - 50 at a time, i dont use jiffys, i use the grey plastic bags.
If you plan on ebaying LOADS of stuff, then i suggest you invest in some bags, you just have to add it to the coat of your P&P

    Hello KAycee, welcome
The stuff that i have sold on ebay, are mainly clothes, shoes & bags, but i have sold old binoculars mobile phones and trinket boxes. there are a couple of people in this thread that have sold all kinds of wonderful things.

Just to remind you guys that royal mail prices are going up on 6th april, so remember to factor that into you P&P charges

    going back to listing now:p

Don't forget to go through the full NPB on them and also set your seller preferences so those buyers who already have two or more strikes can't bid.

    http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/sell/buyer-requirements.html

Start from here to set buyer requirements to exclude overseas bidders or bidders with NPB strikes etc.
