Lol. Thanks Lexxx, needed a kick up the ar*e!

Am just going to have my dinner and then get back to preparing the listings. Need to be motivated and in action as I have decided to have my whole house 'redone'. Not sure quite what this will mean but it will involve having the bathroom floors tiled and some paint on the very dirty walls. So I now have to raise the funds to get this done and it should also help as when the clutter is gone then the floor and walls will be seen.:rotfl:

Ok, I set myself a house challenge - to list at least 1000 items by the last day of June and all proceeds to go into making my house a more pleasant place to live. I'm not going to include relistings and GreenMet/Amazon in this target. (Thought that sounded a really impressive figure until I considered BBs actual!)

(P.S. I'm match betting so funds from that will go to paying off the debt which is an o/d of £15k . Will also put extra bits from scratchcards, cashback sites etc into this black hole)

    Catch up later.

 1000 by the end of june!!!! wow GO FOR IT FLOXXIE:D
i guess if you are going to have your whole house redone, you really need to get rid of stuff, instead of just moving it around from room to room:p

I still cant beleive you have so much stuff !!!! 1000 items, gees if i listed everything in my house it would not even total half that:rotfl:

    Hey Floxxie

That sounds like so many items especially if your not counting the ones your going to relist!!!! Im very impressed and a tad jealous :o I probably have enough things in my house to keep me listing for the next few years.... and i only live in a one bedroom flat!!! One day i would love to be able to see my bedroom carpet and not have piles and piles of stuff and boxes everywhere.

I sold 13 books today through ebay to a man in Switzerland. I had to go in and change them all to buy it now which cost me 5p per book but even with my final value fees i got the 99p i was looking for them. It does mean that i no longer have all those items listed.... need to get cracking with some more listing but am sitting here looking at the state of the house and i really should be doing some cleaning :o ....hmmmm cleaning or ebay.... ebay or cleaning..... think ebay wins hands down :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Perhaps you are both getting an idea of how cluttered my house is..and I haven't even thought about the garage or attic.

Am sat here at the moment with pile of ironing and eBay stuff...now what to do?....iron some clothes so the children have something to wear tomorrow or eBay....ummm, have to agree BB, got to get on with eBay!

Sold two books today on Amazon; thought that was good until BB beat me again! - that's great clutter clearing. Wish I lived in a 1 bed flat again; the lack of space and money meant it was empty and airy and I loved it.

Target for 30th June - listing 1000 items on eBay - will update my total tomorrow...

Floxxie wish my flat was empty and airy there are piles of stuff and boxes everywhere :o the only thing that keeps me going is that if i list the stuff on ebay my mum takes it up to her house to store until it sells so that sometimes motivates me.... but only sometimes

Selling two books on amazon is great :T i nearly didn't sell the books cause i couldn't be bothered last night when they emailed me to try and work out a postage cost :o but they didn't take no for an answer so i was quite lucky to sell them.

I've listed 5 items tonight and thats enough for tonight as im tired and need to start looking after myself in between jobs, ebay and housework!

If i can list one item a night i will be happy with that.

Total items listed at the moment is 276 with 3 items currently with bids totalling £4.98 :j

Looking forward to your update floxxie

    Hi BB, thanks for asking.

Have only done 9 but they were the long, wordy listings. Hope to try some easier listings tomorrow i.e. magazines!

Glad you've managed to get some things listed. I've only been listing really basic stuff that you don't really need to describe too much as i just dont have the patience for it.... i get half way throught the listing and then think what is the point!!!

Sometimes i think it would just be easier to give all the stuff away and start again with a clutter free house but i know i cant afford to do that i need the money and even if it is only 50p its sometimes the difference between being able to pay the bills and not!

Im off to bed now i hope 2moro will be a better day

Ebay has the tendancy to be able to excite me and depress me all at the same time

I know exactly how you feel BB; cannot bear to throw the stuff away as I can see it will make me some money (even if it's pennies) but have to agree eBay is exciting and depressing.

Hopefully we can get rid of our clutter...slowly but surely...
