I was just thinking of this thread today.

Didn't know how it is with these 99p listings - are you having much interest Lexxx?

Have continued with GreenMet and Amazon and am now selling at least a book a day. Not making me rich but slowly clearing a cupboard.

Have eBay on my things to do tomorrow as the items are gathering a lot of dust :rotfl:

    Hey Floxxie
i listed a total of 42 items last thurs & sunday, i have 3 bids and half the stuff is being watch, i listed the rest today.

i feel better about listing stuff, because i know i cant lose any money if i dont sell, and i will just keep relisting until ebay 'change the rules' again:rolleyes:

This lot is not gonna make me rich either, i am focusing on getting 99p - £2 on each either, anything more will be a bonus

I have at least another 40 items that i will be listing in the next week,

So potentially i could earn up to £200:T

Trying to stay positive & i NEED to pay my gas bill:D

I might start on my books when i get through with the clothes etc...

You keep at it Lexxx; it's so easy to make excuses not to do things!

I checked my Amazon account earlier expecting £4 but there's £23 in there so it just shows how all the little bits add up.

Thanks for the motivational talk, will be adding some carp tomorrow and if it goes at 99p at least another little space will be cleared.

Are you going to add your books to eBay or do you mean Amazon/GreenMet? If the latter, get them on now!

Good luck on getting the funds together for the gas bill. Hope it's not too large.

    Hey

Not been on this thread lately as there's been nothing to update. As its now free listing for 99p stuff i have 279 items listed ..... most of them were items id had on before but that didn't sell and i was waiting for a free listing day but no more every day is free listing :j

I have listed about 79 new items and so far i have 5 out of the 279 selling... some of the stuff i wouldn't have bothered to put on ebay before but now if it doesn't sell it doesn't cost to relist and if it does sell its an added bonus every little helps.

I've put on stuff i would normally have just flung out just incase it can make me a few pence :o

Will try and update soon hope you manage to get some stuff listed and even if its rubbish to you someone else out there may want it

Floxxie, not sure i have the energy to go through my books yet, i Have even more books than i do clothes:rolleyes: but at least they dont take up as much space.

I would do greemet or amazon, because i have read it is better than ebay.
But is there something i should know about, are they changing stuff up?
I was goning to deal with the books after the clothes were gone.

i desperately need to get rid of loads of clutter. i spend most of my time in my bedroom with back problems and can feel the walls getting closer and closer to the bed. i am a terrible hoarder as it is, but going from size 16 to 24 has left me with loads of clothes with tags still attached. i have been on ebay before and have some items on there at the moment but get so disheartened when things dont sell. i have sold a few bits recently but only after reducing the price 3 times to the point of selling things at a loss!! will need to do some study on it and see if i am going wromg somewhere. but count me in anyway, hopefully will manage 3-5 items a day!!

    Welcome homealone,
I understand your ebay frustration, i was in the same boat, at the moment its free to list you item for 99p, so if it doesn't sell you dont loose, but you got to be ok with it selling for 99P. Unfortunately thats the reality of ebay, sometimes you do lose and so times you win.
i normally will bump up my postage if i feel the item is worth more ....controversial:rolleyes: ...but alot of people do it

I'm not getting updates so didn't know anybody had posted - don't know why as it is a subscribed thread?

Lexxx, I too have thousands of books and they are the easiest thing to sell i.e. putting them on Amazon and Greenmet is less time consuming than eBay and I know how much I am going to get at the time of listing! Not aware of anything changing...except more people selling them!!

I'm trying to balance this with listing on eBay but of course there aren't enough hours in the day so eBay has suffered this month. I shall however be setting myself a target for April of 300 items listed on eBay - Buddiebabe puts me to shame - well done BB!;)

Going to be good later and do some eBaying (my target for the remainder of March should be 120 odd items - ummm, I'll give it a go....)

    Catch up later,
