can't believe believe you have listed nearly 300 items - most I have ever had was 26 i(i think) lol!!!

You have all defo spurred my on and I will get my bum in gear over the weekend and maybe aim to list 50 by the end of this month!!:rotfl:

well this has been my day so far:
checked listings this morning, good number of watches and some surprising bids.
did some work well not that much
ironed for about 2 hrs not made much inroads into the ironing pile takingover my house! hmm with 4 men in the house to iron for so means lots of shirts.
then spent rest of day/eve on ebay stuff, sorting taking pics uploading. showed my 8 yr old son how it all worked cos he was facinated how it worked.
then inbetween been reading this thread so sort of feel that i have read all about you ladies now.
i am officially addicted to ebay.. its my friend.. its my way out of this financial mess - maybe?
im very positive maybe too positive? am i missing something?

sorry not been on since original post asking to join. have kept up tp date on what you are all doing and b and floxy have put me to shame. i listed my original 10 items on day 1 for 7 and then just sat back and watched getting more and more despondant with just the odd one or two watching all ending in next 28 hrs but have made £22.81 before any deductions and only spent £8 so quite pleased with myself. although i also feel bit upset seeing some expensive bits only going for a couple of pound but what can you do? not likely to get me very far in my over stuffed cupboards and wardrobes. am a size 22/24 at the moment and have loads ranging from a size 14 up. am having gastric bypass in summer hopefully so keep thinking may be i should hang on to this or that as will need them on my way down the weight chart but if i do that i wont get anywhere so am gettin son to help with more pics over weekend and will try and get some more listed. was wondering whether it would be allowed or not to put our ebay id so we can see what we are all selling and maybe buy a few bits, am fascinated at some who have 100+ listed at what they have listed, would this be allowed?????

    Where is everyone?
    doing their ebay listings maybe?
well i have listed 9 items this afternoon - taking pics and doing the information.
have sold 2 items and have another 6 or so with bids and lots of watchers.
    hoping all will go well.
i might have a look at amazon cos i have lots of books to sell
I have lots of Mills & Boons romance type books.. wonder if they are better on amazon or ebay? any ideas?
im off to cinema tonight to see young victoria for a break!
    have a great evening everyone

I'm here - well sort of as I'm going to disappear again and get on with more listing preparation. Aiming to have at least 50 items ready to list tomorrow evening. Was debating about putting on items each day but realised that the constant packaging and posting would do my head in so I shall put them on twice a week instead and see how that goes.

Had somebody come over earlier to discuss the work I want doing to downstairs. He wanted to know if we had won the lottery!! Mmmm, maybe even a thousand items won't cover the cost? :rotfl:

Anyway will pop back tomorrow evening.
Welcome to any newbies or old timers returning.

mrscmr - have you had a look at greenmetropolis? You get £3 for each book sold but have to take postage costs from that. Great site for popular books.

homealone I wouldn't advise putting your eBay ID up on a public website! I can tell you though that my items range from baby stuff to Dinky toys and everything in between. If I don't want it or it doesn't want us then it will get prepared to be sold.
Good luck with your op; I guess whether you keep the smaller clothes depends on your finances. When I lost certain parts of my body (:rotfl:) I couldn't wait to buy new underwear and threw stuff out that I had kept for years. Even now being poorer, I get rid of things that aren't being used but then that could be because my house is full to the brim!

Ooops this is turning into an essay and stopping me from 'working'. Will love you and leave you until tomorrow evening.
