Hello everyone, Too_Much_Debt signing back in for duty.

I have been listing lots on Ebay the last week as my eldest two were away at my parents (unfortunately me and OH were ill for a few days so didn't get too much done). I've sold a few things on Ebay the last few days, have lots of auctions on, have tons of boxes next to me in my Office which need doing but have to wait until all 3 kids are in bed before I do more.

I'm just going to be trying to upload as much as I can over the next few weeks, sold a few things today but only for the start price which was a bit disappointing, I never normally finish auctions on a Sunday as I find I never get many bids so will be doing 7 days listings for Mon, Tues, Wed and Thurs.

I haven't had a break from Ebay - sad to say but I LOVE Ebay, I'm addicted!!!

tmd, I'm sure there are special words for people like you who enjoy eBay! :rotfl:

Welcome back. Seems the usual crowd have rejoined again which is very good because you are very motivated and will keep me on my toes.

Karmacat, how are you getting on with ebid? Anyone else used it yet? Wondering whether to put items on ebid that haven't sold on ebay?

Off to catch up on reading some money-making threads.

    Hi Floxxie

Probably is a name for us Ebay lovers, I love it and can't stay away, mind you I have a Business on Ebay as it's the only way I can earn any money as my bf works one week earlies one week late and he works 2 weekends out of 4 so I can't go out and get myself a job, so have to Ebay, I love the buzz of getting bids especially in the last minute of an auction.

It's even better selling my second hand stuff as it's all just been sitting around for a year or more.

Am going to get lots ready to list tonight, so will update later with how many I actually do, as the kids don't allow for too much time on the computer until this evening when they are in bed.

just out of interest do any of you have a best day for an auction to end? I always thought items ending on a sunday generate better bids but have found no proof in this lol!!

I suppose it would be less hassle just to list as you go along rather than doing a bulk listing - but at the same time it does mean more runs to the post office lol!!

I find Sunday evening is best, yet sometimes I list mid week out of necessity and quite surprise myself. The only days I have found disappointing are Friday and Saturday evening, although as an experiment I have listed a few bits and bobs to end Saturday, just to see if it is still the same.

However the odd thing is if I list BINs I find they sell mainly during the day.

No chance of me ever becoming one! :rotfl:

I tend to end my listings in Sundays, although have ended them on other days and agree with Soolin, Friday and Saturday have never been positive for me.

I also am always amazed at how you can have no interest in an item one week and then a bidding war the following. I suppose that's why I keep on relisting...

Still haven't done my listing for the day. Will have to wait until OH back from Liverpool..could be in for a long night.

Well, I've opened an account, listed about 9 items so far, all magazines - had to make up my postage policy, that took ages the first day, thats all done for you on amazon. Would have listed more, but I got booted off on a computer glitch. I have some free time now (thats why I'm here, lol) so I might well do it now. Somebody reminded me of gumtree, if nothing's sold on ebid after a couple of months, I'll give that a go too.

    How you doing?
