Hey guys! I realised that I don't need to make the entire sum I wanted to save this month (£333.33), only £192.00 as I have managed to save the rest directly out of my pay. If I'm desperate I will take a bit more out of my savings (which will then have to be made back through Ebay), but that's the minimum I can get away with.
Ahh...why are finances so complicated?! :rolleyes:Please call me 'Pickle'

One I've seen is a Business Seller who should know that you have to offer free P&P in certain categories now.
Wonder if they will have problems when they sell them and the buyer says they are not paying postage as it's meant to be free.
I tend to avoid sellers who try and get clever and break the rules it only ever ends badly. I'm sure none of us like the free postage categories but we are stuck with them and you have to wonder if someone is prepared to break the rules with that what else might they do to the buyer?I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I won't bother with the magazines - like soolin I'd rather give them away! It's not as if I don't have loads of stuff to get through - I've started on the clothes and playstation games - it could be a while before I get to the bottom of the pile. If I'm not sure about anything, I'm putting it in the charity shop bag (which speeds things up!) I want to get clear so I can start on toys mid-month.LBM July 2009DMP Start 1 September 2009DMP Support Number 3350

Thanks Soolin
I know, I hope that whoever wins/buys their items doesn't pay the postage cost.
Haven't ebayed too much this last week as been getting some Xmas bargains but need to get back to Ebay ASAP to make up some of the money I've spent. Managed to get lots of Xmas presents for the kids at Sainsbury's as they have their Half Price sale on.

not done a lot either recently, but had a good couple of day, 16 new listings and 37 relists.
Im aiming low this month so I am trying for £100.00, next years holiday is paid for thanks to ebay, so the rest is a bonus0 -
ohh i finally have my ebay mojo back. woke up early today and had an urge to start listing. (strange I know!) Am up to 13 new ones now with plenty more to do.
As much as I ignore all the xmas stuff around, I know people are starting to look out for gifts so need to try and list as much as possible especially since it'll go super quiet after xmas.
ok i'm rambling. must get back. happy listing all!0 -

Hi mrscmr
That is a good amount of money, can I ask how do you keep track of how much you've made? I find it quite hard as my Ebay money is my only income really (apart from CTC and Child Benefit) so I withdraw money once or twice a week. Also the fees - listing, FVF, Paypal fees, postage - I just can't keep track.
I'm finding it really slow at the moment, thought it might pick up near payday but haven't sold anything for a few days.

My November Ebay target is now in my sig so I mean business! :rotfl:
Managed to list 15 items last night (after going through verification process with Ebay - has it really been that long they have forgotten me already!!)
By the time I'd finished my last item, the first one I had put up had 2 watchers on it :j

I in the past have written down all the fees etc on a chart . If you can make a spreadsheet this is miles easier - Im still getting round to doing mine thow lol .
The way I do it is have all your colums set out - e.g item name / ebay fees / paypal fees / p&p costs in one list ......Then more colums with p&p charged and amount sold for ..then subtract the amounts to get your final profit .
this does take up about an hr to do but you can either do it as you go along when you list them and weigh everything then [ its handy to have royal mail postage prices print off for this }
Or go onto your ebay account fees once a month for the listing fees youve paid and do the same for paypal and just do it once a month .
I also find it easier if i print labels through paypal as the information is easier to print off monthly this way and again if you sell multiple identical items .:o
Im going to set myself an Ebay target this month in my signature like you guys as I seem to find im motivated this month , however I can easily get out of the motion quite regular ...lolEbay Bag A Day Challenge 2012- :staradmin
