Hi, hope you dont mind me joining you, I have been lurking on this thread for a few weeks now and started to sell my clutter on ebay. I'm doing well and think that sending things is the most stressful part.

I was just wondering since I havent ebayed for a few years now and in the past I used to use 'proof of postage' sheets that you can fill in and the post office stamps it as proof. Do they still have this format or do they use a printed receipt as proof?

    Thanks!

Ebid's heading fast for its 3 millionth listing, with £3000 prize money for the (non-bulk upload) lister of the 3 millionth item. Hint hint for the 99p listers in the media categories!

Thanks for that, as I have loads to list on eBid but have got caught up with my family history this weekend!

So i am joining the challenge, i am going to try and list at least 5 things a day. when do you think is the best time or day is to list? Morning, afternoon or night or does it not matter? Should i miss any days out, like Friday and Saturday night as people tend to be out? Thanks in advance

  • Hi, I sold a boys jacket for 99p a couple of weeks ago, sent it 10 days ago, and now I'm being hassled by the purchaser who says they haven't received it. They seem to think I know where it is, and don't get it that its left my hands. Am I right to think I have to wait 2 weeks before taking this up with the post office. Does anyone have any advice as to how to deal with this?
    Thanks.

  • Oh well, can't list all my old comics now you have to have free postage and I'm not paying to list the items (was doing them 99p so was free). Ebay are crafty, they are making it free postage so that people don't list for 99p, well I have about 40 or 50 comics and 4 or 5 books that will no longer be listed, will put them all back in my boxes of other ones and keep them myself.

  • I have another person claiming no to have received their parcel posted on 8th October - that's 2 parcels posted the same day and same post office not received. It makes me mad as I'm the one who gets the hassle not the Post Office.
