Do you have to put free postage for magazines? If so what prices are you putting yours on at?

I have piles of Ancestry magazines - do you think there is a market on ebay or anywhere else?
Total Amazon listing for October 60 items, sales (so far) 37. Sales to date £790!!! not as much of course once e-bay and paypal have their cut. I'm still getting the hang of pricing postage correctly - I forgot to allow for the weight of the packaging, which I found can push a parcel from one weight range to the next. There is some order in the garage and we can actually move around and reach all the racking we have for the first time in years!! We are trying to be very disciplined about making sure what we make goes towards paying for the house things we need - the whole family is behind the venture especially as they know they will benefit. DS is about to spend the first night in his new bed (e bay purchase of course!). We should get that carpet by Christmas - not an expensive one as Iive with a very clumsy man, who won't promise that he won't spill things on it!!LBM July 2009DMP Start 1 September 2009DMP Support Number 3350 -
There are no completed listings for a magazine called Ancestry , the only magazine like that is Ancestor and the sales are slow and with the enforced free postage I think you will struggle to make a profit after fees. You'd have listing fees, plus FVFs on the postage element as well plus paypal and that means looking to start magazines at around £2.20 just to break even.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Hi all!
Catching up on all your achievements makes me feel extra bad at how much I have slacked!
Not Ebayed since beginning of August
But, I have drafted a HUGE Ebay plan for November and December and I WILL STICK TO IT!!
I'm aiming to list 10 items every Sun, Mon and Tues. This means that I don't overload myself with too many parcels to get out and I am hitting the busy bidding times. I have already organised my 'goods' into 'ranges' to go on and have around two thirds of them photographed.
Target for November = £300
Target for December = £200
Bring it on!! :rotfl:Pround to be dealing with my debts! DFW Nerd # 1201

Why are there so many sellers listing DVD's, CD's and Books etc and listing them as Freight and stating in the description that postage and packing will be x amount.
One I've seen is a Business Seller who should know that you have to offer free P&P in certain categories now.
Wonder if they will have problems when they sell them and the buyer says they are not paying postage as it's meant to be free.Sealed Pot Challenge #0160
