Three of the things that I listed at the beginning of July and kept relisting finally sold this week for £4.75. Every little helps:T

One of the items I have listed 6 times sold this week for the same price as I keep listing it at, £4.99, maybe it was a super busy week on ebay

4 items sold and posted £32.49 made, now I need to get some more on

I have a t-shirt that I have been listing for months and then tonight I have 5 watchers on it? Just hope someone bids now..

Have got a very busy day tomorrow; have spent the week organsing the piles. They are ready and waiting so my target for Sunday is to have 80 new items listed.

On my existing items, there are lots of watchers but only £24 in bids. Unfortunately I have an American bidder for 7 of my magazines who obviously hasn't read the listing properly and I think he thinks he can have UK postage costs. Have sent him a message.

Also checked my postage DSRs and remembering that the most I charge for packaging is 15p, it is 4.7!! My communication is 4.8 - how many emails do they want? Ok maybe not as low as some people but what a cheek.

Withdrew just over £100 this week from eBay. This isn't profit as it includes postage etc. but I am feeling very lazy so it will all go into my 'savings' pot.

Don't you find it expensive though to keep relisting? at 15p a go and and assuming sale 6 was a relist from non sale 5 you've paid 75p basic listing fees. I tend not to relist much unless I suddenly see other similar items suddenly starting to go well. What do others do?

I didn't use to relist after the second time. Then my strategy was to reduce the price. Then I realised that the items were not going to sell sat in my room and I don't have an alternative avenue to sell them so I tend to relist items but it is the rare one that I would put on to incur fees. The rest I put on at 99p and hope several people will take pity on me.

Hope that makes sense! My strategy now is to get rid of as quickly as possible but make some money on the way if I can.

Just also putting on a reminder that you now have to confirm your shipping on Amazon before the buyers money is 'paid' to you.

I relsit and relist as long as it is a free re list.

I looked at selling some on Amazon yesterday, but did I read write that it is 86ishp plus final sale fee before you get anything? surely it must be hard to get anything from doing it this way?

MMM bit confused and wondered if anyone has come across this.

I was just about to start a non pay dispute for one of my items that was sold on the 1/8/09 and when I clicked on the 1 item awaiting payment and looked at the account there is now a timer on the payment syymbol and it says the buyer marked this has payment sent on the 7/08/09. Now nothing hs come i through paypal and its still down on my account as waiting for payment. Any idea what this means and should I wait to start the non payment dispute?

when its marked payment sent it usually means the buyer has sent a cheque/postal order.
I've just opened a non paying dispute too for the guy who wanted to send cash from Poland, he said he didn't have a bank account so couldn't pay with paypal!

Good luck with the listings Floxxie. I really need to get stuff listed too so will get cracking on them in the afternoon!
