congrats gingababe on the new arrival! oh you will get me all broody lol!

i popped in2 m&s on my way home from work 2nite and i know its not exactly very mse but i picked up a few bargains/tat from the end of their sale to put ebay!
got a bikini for £3, 2 dresses at £2 each, a skirt, bra & tunic for £1 each - so £10 spent for at least £100 worth of clothes - the dresses have tags with £35 rrp - even if i managed to make 35 for the lot id be happy!:T

i have decided to keep the bikini and one dress for my holiday to tenerife in december so didn't do 2 badly lol!!!

have 4 things on turbo lister so far - prepping for thur night, hopefully will make it to double figures with new listings this week (not including relists)

hope everyone else is staying motivated:p

    Hello everyone,

I've withdrawn just over £120 from Paypal and have another £15 worth of stuff that needs to be paid for (some of that is for the American who hadn't asked about postage so I'm not holding my breath that he will pay).

Had a busy day posting items - not too many but they were the awkward ones that involved couriers and Post Offices and working out the best price.

Was planning to start on the pile for Thursday's listings but the little one won't go to sleep so I'm still waiting to start on this. Will give it a go tomorrow. It's a nightmare with the children being at home; trying to balance housework, giving them attention, studying and eBaying! It would so much easier to go out to work :rotfl:

Anyway it's a bit quiet so I hope everyone is staying motivated.

I've prepared 18 listings but still need to take photos for them tomorrow ready for Thursday & Friday night listings. I've learnt the hard way not to list them all on one night together as its a nightmare when they all need wrapping straight away on a Sunday night. I like to post things out next day or the following one at the very latest

I used to stagger my listings but then found that my buyers seemed to pay all on the same day and never when I wanted them to!

  • Hi I have started the ebay challenge but my paypal account only allows me to withdraw £1700 a year , if I am gonna succeed at my challenge I need to be earning a lot more than that through ebay sales. How do I lift my limits, do you guys have a business account for ebay? Advice would be appreciated.

I lifted my limit by changing PayPal to business, its made no difference other than that and I've been that way for about 3 years now

I have still not done photos as I have been out all evening celebrating my bro's birthday. His girlfriend came round and purchased a pair of shoes I was going to put on ebay though so thats one less photo to take :)

You're right, now if only I can tempt her round once a week or so I am sure I have enough stuff to keep her out of the shops ;)

I will be taking all those photos this evening to get these items on tonight

  • ahh Im so frustrated right now!! I sold 6 iems to buyer who paid by 3 e-cheques in the last 2 weeks, 1 has bounced, 2 cancelled and the buyer is new to eBay. I've contacted her twice to let her know, but so far I've had no response...looks like Im going to lose £60 worth of sales :-(
